SRUTHY SANTHOSH 2016 Batch Our thought decides the future she said to me in that worst day. A small angel with beautiful smile and longhair. That is thrish, a rare girl who gives sweet to others for celetrating her one year of back pain. She teacher me to enjoy small things in our life. Each second spent with her creates a beautifull happy world. Becouse she always love to walk through green not through roads. She wants to enjoy the wings of air, smell of flowers, small touch of leaves and twinkling water drops in leaves creates a beautiful diamond castle for her. She can talk fishes in our aquarium and can find happiness by giving biscuits to dogs in our university and every evening she waits for a dog to care it. First time I see a person who can show empathy to others, not sympathy. Her happiness is making others happy. So she always gives beautiful surprises to others. My abstract artist, avoiding her back pain enjoys to make small creative gifts for her friends. She always love to collect lillies from our pond and gift to others. She can spread positive to others life. and most wonderful thing is that she always motivates herself and dreams more. She has an innocent face and golden heart. Who don’t want to love that girl. 54 thcpIƒ AXnPoh\\Øns‚ Ahtijn∏pIƒ

SREELAKSHMI S. 2016 Batch A pleasant morning. Bright shining morning sun. I was just walking through my garden reading some love stories. Suddenly, I noticed a red rose beside me, standing alone in whole garden. I felt like it was smiling at me. The red shiny petals was blushing at me. Suddenly some memories flashed on my mind. When I Just saw by, she was so beautiful as red rose. Her smile felt like a cool breeze on me. She was surrounded by a bunch of roses and appeared one among them. She noticed me, staring at her, eyes locked. I felt like dying. She walked towards me and gave me a rose and moved away. At that moment, started a new journey of love. A gentle cool breeze brought me back to normal. I looked at rose, simply smiled and plucked it. Entering the house, I searched her in room. I saw her sleeping as beautiful as when I just saw her. I simply kept the flower near her soft warm hands leaving a message Happy anniversary. The journey of love has reached here... 62 thcpIƒ AXnPoh\\Øns‚ Ahtijn∏pIƒ

VARSHA DAMODARAN 2016 Batch A film should be inspiring that should reach into the minds of the viewers. Such kind of a movie is Taare Zameen Par, directed by Amir Khan. It is not one of those films that merely entertains, but also enlightens. It is one film that makes you peep into a childs mind and how some parents, in their pursuit to make them stranger academically, forget that there is hithert to un- tapped talent that needs to be nourished and encouraged. This movie is about a child who suffers because no one around him recognize that he is a slow learner. The first half of the film gives the time to think of nor- mal children who are just not acacdemically inclined. In the second half, comes by too quickly compared to the tracema shown earlier. Amir khan’s entry into the movie seemed-over-the-top and forced, mainly because it was in absolute contrast with the toneof the movie thus far. after alittle while we can’t distinguish between the actor Amir Khan and his character, both are fighting for the same cause. He is trying to build confidence in that childs mind. The climax is really heart touching. The climax is exaggerated and the aim is to show not reality of life but reality of the condition that this child suffer from. Tare Zameen Par, the most discussed movie ever. It has the same importance as before. The songs too con- tribute to the narrative. It has an importance in Indian scenario. Our traditional concept is the students should be accademically strong. No one is considering about the hidden talents in every child. But I think, this movie could change these concepts upto an extent. Everyone is unique. Everyone has their own talents. When we dis- cover such talents, new personalities will arise. 64 thcpIƒ AXnPoh\\Øns‚ Ahtijn∏pIƒ
