Infrastructure and Fit Out Description This project situated in the east of London in Stratford was a two tower development adjacent to Stratford International. Woodford installed the entire energy centre including the gas boilers, CHP and the LTHW network up to and including the HIUs. We also completed the wet riser system, conventional radiators and wet underfloor heating. We implemented the BMS control system, cold water boosting, heat meters, m-bus network with pre-payment system and all public health. The projects included the supply and install of sanitary ware, air conditioning to the penthouse, communal and gymnasium.

The Key to Success Early engagement & collaboration in a large complex project was the key to success. Shared data and the creation of a bespoke quality assurance app were key to us winning and delivering this project to such a high standard. The data sharing initiative was created at the very beginning of the project. Woodford were lucky enough to get involved much earlier than usual which enabled us to create a bespoke quality assurance app for the client, and to deal with all potential risks so much earlier in the project than usual. This saved both time on the programme and will help reduce the whole life cost of running and maintaining the plant. We were recognised by not only our client for our achievements on this project but also by CIBSE and were awarded CIBSE Collaborative Working Partnerships in March 2019 – we fought of some major national contractor to achieve this accolade of which we are hugely proud.
