BHSU.EDU/RESIDENCELIFE LIVING ON CAMPUS Students who live on campus have the unique opportunity to get the most out of their college experience. With three different living options between five residence halls and one apartment complex, there’s something that meets the needs of every student. TTHHEEPPEEAAKKSS The Peaks is the three-building complex of Heidepriem Hall, Thomas Hall, and Bordeaux Hall. The three residence halls are joined together by the Lookout Lodge room which features a central living area that is the resident life hub for all three buildings. It includes a two-story great room, residential kitchen for student use, fireplace, a snack area, and multi-media study rooms. BORDEAUX HALL THOMAS HALL HEIDEPRIEM HALL Bordeaux Hall is the newest residence Thomas Hall is one of the larger co-ed Heidepriem Hall is the largest co-ed hall on campus. The average residence halls with a capacity of 156 residence hall on the BHSU campus with dimension of Bordeaux Hall suites are residents. Room sizes for Thomas Hall room for 160 residents. Room sizes for 20’ x 10’. are 14’ x 12’. Heidepriem Hall are 14’ x 12’. WENONA COOK HALL Wenona Cook is BHSU’s oldest residence hall and personifies the historic beauty of our campus. Residents of Wenona Cook enjoy very close proximity to Lyle Hare Stadium and many of the classrooms on campus. Most of the rooms are single availabilty and prioritize upperclassmen. The average room size for Wenona Cook Hall is 14’ x 19’. HUMBERT HALL Humbert is conveniently located across the street from the library and campus green. This residence hall is a close-knit community building, housing 80+ students. Room sizes for Humbert Hall are 14’ x 12’. YELLOW JACKET APARTMENTS The Yellow Jacket Apartments are comprised of eight buildings (two of which are set aside for family housing), and each building includes eight apartments. Every apartment is set up to house three students: one in the single bedroom and two in the double bedroom. The living room and kitchen area are open to each other giving a spacious feel to the living space. Roommates share a generously sized bathroom. There is a laundry room located in each building. All apartments are furnished with a couch, beds, dressers, an air-conditioner, and a full kitchen. Apartments designed for students with disabilities are available. Each apartment has 790 square feet of living space. The single bedroom is approximately 11’3” x 10’ with a small closet and the double bedroom is 11’ x 12’ plus a walk-in closet. The living room is 13’6” wide.

STUDENT LIFE ON CAMPUS Living on campus allows you to get the most out of your college experience and will lead to lifelong friendships and great memories by placing you in the heart of the BHSU community. Students who live on campus have a fulfilling and successful college experience. LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITIES (LLC) BHSU hosts several Living Learning Communities (LLC) which aim to connect students with others that share similar interests or goals. LLCs offer a unique way to combine learning, living, and personal development in an environment where they all complement and strengthen each other. Current LLCs on campus include Healthcare Professionals, Sustainable Living, The Honors Community, and Social Advocates. BHSU is a member of NCAA Division II, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), and National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). The Donald E. Young Sports & Fitness Center, home of the Yellow Jackets, offers the largest collection of exercise equipment in the region, a field house with a walking track, and an aquatic center with lap lanes.
