Points to Remember Communication is an exchange and flow of information and ideas from one person to another. Communication is effective only when the sender gets the desired action or response from the receiver. Communication is important because it helps to acquire knowledge, build relationships, helps in sharing thoughts, emotions and feelings as well as expressing emotions, resolve disputes / differences and get things done. 9
Summary: • The goal of communication is to get and give information, persuade / convince, ensure understanding, get action, and lastly to change behaviour for better results.
