We believe that local politics should be about local issues within our community. Spennymoor Independents work as a group but without a party line to follow, we do not follow the lead of a national political party. However where a national problem affects us at a local level, such as housing, we will be vocal. If you are interested in standing as a town councillor in May 2017 please contact any of the following: Kevin Thompson 01388817797 Liz Maddison 01388 816297 Geoff Darkes 01388 420901 Vote For Change-Vote Spennymoor Independents People Before Politics

In order to secure a group logo and identify us on the ballot paper Spennymoor Independents had to register with the Electoral Commission as a party. We can and do vote as individuals or together on key issues that affect our town. Would you like to join us? Please do not waste your vote; help us to work with you and make a difference to OUR town. Avoid the Party Politics. Vote For Change-Vote Spennymoor Independents People Before Politics
