POETRY OUT LOUD- RECITATION COMPETITION (SOLO) Eligibility : Group 1(Grades I-II); only one student per School Time limit: 1 - 1½ minutes Theme: Gratitude * Judgement Criteria: Memorisation, Voice and articulation, Intonation, Confidence.  Please note: Negative marking for exceeding or speaking below the time limit.

FLIGHT OF THE STARS Eligibility: Group 2 (Grades III-IV); only one student per School Time Limit: 1½- 2 minutes Give wings to your imagination and make your favourite character from books come alive!  This is an individual event. * Come dressed as your favourite character from a book you have read and speak for 1½ -2 minutes as her/him. Please note you must speak in the first person, I, narrating and taking the audience through some of the events in the book. For example: “I am Alice and I have no idea how I landed in Wonderland. I was sitting with my sister outdoors when I caught sight of a white rabbit… Judgement Criteria: Content and Organization, Voice and articulation, Dramatisation, Confidence *Please note: Negative marking for exceeding or speaking below the time limit.
