Thank You Community Partners October/November 2021 11 Hello 4-H Friend and Family My name is Carrie Wiley, and I am the OrganizaƟonal Leader of the Langlade County 4-H Poultry Project. I took over the project aŌer the 2019 fair– and for as long as my oldest has been in the project (3 years prior) I have always been concerned about the age and shape of the cages our kinds were using at the fairgrounds. One of the first things I wanted to do was start raising funds to get them ungraded. Then Covid it, of course, and shout EVERYTHING down. So fast forward to finally geƫng ready for 2021 fair! We had SOME funds, but were not able to replace enough cages to have them for the fair. We decided to do a basket raffle during our show to raise some more funds for our cages… Let me tell you, all our exhibitor families stepped in with some awesome donaƟons for the raffles! ALONG WITH THE COMMUNITY! I can’t THANK those businesses in our community ENOUGH for their support of 4-H kids! Please be sure to stop in and say HI and Thank You to these amazing folks too!
