52 DEPARTMENTAL EVENT OF BAF AND BMS CHOCLATE & ROSE DAY On 11th February, 2022 Chocolate and Rose day were organized. Happiness dwells in all and what better way to enhance someones mood and day than give them chocolates and roses. On account of the celebration, an atmosphere was generated that was filled with enormous joy and content. Students celebrated this day by giving chocolates and roses to teachers and fellow mates as a token of their gratefulness, love and respect. The entire crowd had a massive blast with the flow of music & sharing of chocolates and roses on the floor. The day came to an end with sugarcoated memories captivating everyone's hearts and minds.

57 DESSERT MAKING COMPETION DESSERT MAKING INTRA TIHM COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF VALENTINE’S DAY, THAKUR INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT HAD ORGANIZED A DESSERT MAKING COMPETITION AMONG HOSPITALITY & CULINARY STUDENTS. THE COMPETITION HELD ON 11TH OF FEBRUARY 2022 IN BASIC TRAINING KITCHEN & BAKERY. STUDENTS WERE ALLOWED TO EXPLORE DIFFERENT CUISINES FOR A VARIETY OF SWEETS. BEING A VALENTINE'S DAY THEME, IT IS REALLY VERY BEAUTIFUL TO SEE SUCH DELICACIES. 15 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED WITH GREAT ZEAL; WITH THE MOMENT OF AFFECTION THE SPORTSMANSHIP WAS ALSO VERY VISIBLE. Trying different tricks & techniques to get their best product for the competition kept the confidence high, some had tried Indian Mithai, like Mohanthal so some had gone directly to French cuisine & prepared Pancakes dipped in Chocolate sauce. Khan Fruit Carving is not a name which require any Introduction, Although in the Benefit of students TIHM introduces this novel skill to students so they can upgrade themselves with one more department in Hospitality industry. Chef Khan had briefed students about the carving techniques & different knives required for precision carving. he also showed the some easy Garnishes & boost their confidence by giving them chances to perform in front of him.

Chef Khan gave them vision on how they can make most of this skill commercially & skillfully which can help them to stand out from the crowd. faculties present during the workshop had thoroughly enjoyed the work & was really to see such interest from students. Carving is actually an artistic work on food items which enhance the eye appeal of such item to pay more attention. like a Painter, food carver also design,draw&discover various new shapes an canvas to express his inner emotions. all these were very well explain by Chef Khan. The demand for social justice intensified by inequality and discrimination prevailing in the society. Work and consideration of social justice started long ago, but unfortunately still social justice remains a dream for many people of the world. Due to the spread of discrimination and inequality in the society, many other conditions become so bad that human rights violations also begin. Keeping this fact in mind, the United Nations has decided to celebrate February 20 as World Social Justice Day. IQAC & Department Of Lifelong Learning & Extension [DLLE] and National Service Scheme (NSS Unit SB-23) of ZSCT’s Thakur Polytechnic, Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College took an initiative and celebrated world social Justice Day by mutually organizing a poster making competition. Many students from both the organizations took part in the competition. They portrait their feeling of social justice in the posters they created. 79 To support this Great initiative of making paper bags and To boost creative and inventive skills in the students IQAC & Department Of Lifelong Learning & Extension [DLLE] of ZSCT’s Thakur Polytechnic, Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College organized a Paper Bag Making activity. Making beautiful paper bags in different shapes and sizes proved to be a simple yet intriguing activity. The fun-filled activity inspired young students to contribute to the mother nature by using paper bags and saying no to plastic bags. By and large, students showcased their creativity and artistic skills by making attractive paper bags and decorating them vibrantly. Students collected the required material for making paper bags from homeLow cost and best out waste usage were the values introduced among the students. 80 Felicitation event of NSS, DLLE and WDC IQAC AND DEPARTMENT OF LIFELONG LEARNING AND EXTENSION [DLLE] Report on Felicitation On 8 th March,2022 ZSCT’s Thakur event of NSS, DLLE and Polytechnic, Thakur Shyamnarayan WDC on 8th March, 2022 Degree College organized a Felicitation ZSCT’s Thakur ceremony for the Students of IQAC & Polytechnic, Thakur Department Of lifelong Learning & Shyamnarayan Degree Extension [DLLE] , National Service College Scheme (NSS Unit SB-23) and Women development Cell (WDC) to enhance the morale of the little modernites and give recognition to their commendable Academic achievements. That Day was also celebrated as International Women’s Day. Keeping in view the growing imbalance in the man-woman ratio, we have to emphasize focusing on celebrating and welcoming girl child.
81 To get rid of vicious social customs of dowry system responsible for killing of girl child, the status of women shall have to be enhanced The International Women’s Day was celebrated at ZSCT’s Thakur Polytechnic, Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College on 8th March, 2022. The purpose of celebrating Women’s Day is – To raise awareness about the status and dignity of women among the students. At the beginning of program our respected Dr Amruta Pawar ma’am . Gave a short speech on Women’s day, and welcomed our Chief Guest Ms. Aishwarya Sedamkar (Asst Prof) with a heartwarming bouquet of flowers. The Guest of Honour present that day were very special because they were none other than Mrs.Kavita Ahire, Heath worker, Dr.Sneha Palkar,Medical officer, BMC and Mrs.Sonali Thakur, Women Police Constable(WPC), their gracious presence was a true inspiration to the students. We begin the ceremony by an ISH STAVAN followed by a welcome dance. We continued the event by a preface of NSS activities by Mr. Udaybhan Yadav(NSS Programme Officer) followed by Preface of DLLE activities by Dr. Amruta Pawar and lastly Preface of WDC activities by Mrs. Soni Singh. The Students were felicitated in three groups. The first group consists of the students from NSS and in the second group students were from DLLE and the third group was from WDC. The event was earmarked with the beautiful cultural performances by the students. A remarkable Dance performance was presented by the DLLE students. Along with a melodious song. The Guest of honour showered her blessings on the students by the pearls of wisdom. The need of the hour for the girls and women in the society is to safeguard them against violence committed against them. For that an act of self-defence was presented by the students of WDC. There was also a mono act performed by the student of WDC. The felicitation event was commenced by a motivating speech by our chief guest. It was followed by a memorable vote of thanks by student of DLLE. The event was ended by paying our respect to our country by singing our National Anthem. Overall the event was a bash of enthusiasm and was very mush successfull on all levels.

87 FELICITATION PROGRAM Cultural committe Our ZSCT’s Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College had organised a Cultural Day Felicitation Programme on 4th March, 2022 at our college auditorium. The felicitation programme started with Saraswati Vandana by Hm students and we moved further by grand welcoming our Chief Guest and Guest of Honour Nandini Roy Ma’am where she gave a wonderful preface of the event. Our program then moved ahead with group singing and we started with the felicitation of students who participated in Diya Decoration.
88 After That there was a group dance performance by the students. Then we moved further with the felicitation of students for Makeup and Hairstyle. Then we had a guitar performance by a student who mesmerised us with his performance.Then we felicitated the winners of best Out Of Waste with classical dance performance ahead. Then the winners of fancy dress composition were felicitated for their unique and stylish dress. There was a solo singing performance too. Moving ahead with the Felicitation of Winners of the 75th Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav were followed by a mind boggling Skit. then the students with National State, and University Level winners were awarded.
89 This was followed by a Rap done by a student,all the students were having fun with it. AFter this, 15 students were felicitated who participated in the Youth Festival whi9ch was followed by a dance performance. At least, the address by the Chief Guest was given; then the Felicitation was concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Duheeta Ma’am followed by the National Anthem and the felicitation programme was concluded. All of us dispersed with sweet memories.

97 ONLINE SPORTS QUIZ COMPETITION THAKUR SHYAMNARAYAN DEGREE COLLEGE SPORTS COMMITTEE The Sports Committee of ZSCT’s Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College organized an “Online Sports Quiz Competition “ the topic for the same comprising various sports like badminton, football, cricket, badminton and students from different departments participated which was held on 8th February, 2022. 98 SPORTS FELICITATION PROGRAMME THAKUR SHYAMNARAYAN DEGREE COLLEGE SPORTS COMMITTEE On 5th March, 2022 our ZSCT’s Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College had organised a Felicitation ceremony in our college auditorium to laud the efforts of achievers in various sports competitions held at online and offline platforms. Our sports committee faced a lot of hurdles due to pandemic situations but we didn't stop, we continued our activities with that high spirit and conducted Online State Level Sports Competition, Offline Sports Day Event and Online Sports Quiz competition as well where many active participation was received and winners for the same were awarded
99 The felicitation programme started with the warm welcome of our Chief Guest Dr. Amruta Pawar Ma’am and the Guest of Honour Mr. Udaybhan Yadav Sir followed by two Sports In-charge -Mr. Sagar Kunbi Sir & Ms. Ruhi Main Ma’am along with all the sports members -Mr. Ajay Gupta Sir, Mr. Ashish Bhivase Sir, Mr. Kunal Thakur Sir and Ms. Dueeta Joshi Ma’am who had given their valuable contribution in Sports for college. After the devotional song and welcome dance. The Chief Guest & Guest of Honour were felicitated and the felicitation programme started with the felicitation of Online State Level Sports Winners who were awarded with medals and certificates.
100 Later the Sports In- Charge gave the preface of sports committee where all the work done by the committee of the college were disclosed. Then further we move ahead with the felicitation of Offline Sports Day winners whereby all the winners were felicitated with the certificates and one male sports champion and one female sports champion with overall great performance in the offline sports were awarded with shiny trophies.
