Celebrating UWI 70th Anniversary – Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Several Alumni Chapters attended church The UWI and the Open Campus’ 10th services to celebrate The UWI’s 70th anniversary. Long Service Awards The UWI Open Campus St. Vincent and the Grenadines Retreat and Long Service Awards – held on March 13, 2018. Head of Site, Mrs. Deborah Dalrymple, presented five staff members with plaques for their service to the University over the last 30 years as follows: Over 15 years – Mr. Sylvannus Horne Over 20 years – Mrs. Roxanne Chance and Ms. Lecia Quow Over 30 years – Ms. Patricia Baptiste and Mrs. Monica Browne Open Campus Alumni Announced its First Pelican Awardees, October 14, 2017 On Saturday, October 14, 2017, the Open Campus UWI AA announced its inaugural awardees. H.E. Dame Cecilé La Grenade and H.E. Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton received recognition for their contribution to community, country, the Caribbean Region, The University of the West Indies, and beyond.
