Paranormal Investigator Magazine By: Sarah Daniels Stan Romanek is currently promoted as the most documented and well-known ET contact case in the United States. He has had documented experiences since 2000, the number of experiences and witnesses are simply astounding. His story continues to surface in mainstream media outlets such as magazines, the ABC network, Larry King Live, and many others. He is currently married to Lisa Romanek and residing in Colorado. The amount of evidence in Stan’s case is over whelming with substantially creditable photographs of Aliens, UFOs and even video. Reputable research- ers such as Dr. Leo Sprinkle, America’s well-known ET psychologist , Dr. Jack Kasher who was a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Claude Swanson who was educated as a physicist at MIT and Princeton University, and Alejandro Rojas, a well-known field investigator, writer and editor currently at Open Minds magazine, all have had a common interest and study in unusual phenomena surrounding Stan. These leading ET researchers have all played a hand in the investigation and formal production of evidence in the Romanek case such as, eval- uation of complex physics equations, hypnotic channeled regression, decoding a language, and so much more. — 48 —

Paranormal Investigator Magazine The photo of Stan standing in the room full of orbs is a rare astounding enigma photograph cap- tured by a close friend. These photographs are being published and released here in Paranormal Investigator Magazine, and have not been fabricated in any way. The rippling effect of Stan’s story across the globe has opened the eyes of many, and even given solemn comfort to those who are also having this unexplainable phenomenon in their own life. Stan and his wife are traveling all over the United States giving their testimonial presentation, and are now looking to travel overseas to other countries to expand the human awareness that ‘there is far more happening with this planet than what the general population is aware of’’. Stan and his family are still currently having amazing sightings and experiences many of which still remain a mystery. What we do know is that the Romanek family has had many challenges trying to spread their message of ET experiences, and at times they have felt their own safety was in jeopardy, not by the ET’s, but by terrestrials or some sort of anonymous covert organizations on this planet. It also appears that the ET race he is in contact with works to keep him safe, allowing him to continue to spread his cosmic message. The opposition clearly does not want Stan’s testimonies to get out to the public and have been attacking their family with methods of intimidation, harassment and even violent acts. From my perspective at times his journey has presented itself as some sort of battle between the ET’s and terrestrial covert organizations regarding the knowledge and public awareness on the subject matter. The U.S. is still one of the very few powerful countries left to declassify or at least release some UFO records or acknowledgments that our military is aware of interactions with unexplainable visitors. Paranormal Investigator Magazine DEMON OR KNOT Debe Branning As a paranormal investigator in the state of Arizona for nearly twenty years, I have acquired several so-called “haunted items”, much like our celebrity friend who boasts his own museum and popular TV show. Al- though my collection doesn’t merit its own exhibition hall, items have been tossed in envelopes, shoe box- es, and closets. A very close friend of mine traveled to Arizona from back East in search of an older house she could turn into a bed and breakfast. Instead she found a bed and breakfast she could easily turn back into a cozy home. She was very excited about purchasing the historic home, and began to do some upgrades right away. Like many new homeowners, she was having a difficult time getting use to the creaks and noises of her new residence. Shortly after she settled in, I re- ceived a phone call about a problem that was making her a little apprehensive. “Can you come over with some of your ghost equip- ment and check out my house,” she sounded a bit ner- vous, “There is something strange on the outside of one of my bedroom doors.” “On the door?” I was puzzled. “Yes,” she hesitated, “Every time I walk down the hallway, I see this thing on the door that looks just like the devil.” I threw a few basic items in my ghost bag and drove over to my friend’s new home. It was in a very nice neighborhood, and I didn’t pick up any bad “vibes” concerning the house as I walked up to the front door. I rang the bell. My friend ushered me in and proudly gave the nickel and dime tour of the former boarding house. “So, where is this door?” I poked my head down the long hallway. — 58 —

Paranormal Investigator Magazine Ghost Hunting 101 By Director J. Burkhart Ghost hunting has become hugely popular ever since the first release of the show “Ghost Hunters”. The show was closely followed by many other programs like it, usually involving a group of “trained” individuals traveling the country or countries in search of an ever elusive ghostly experience in ei- ther proving or debunking its existence. Now while watching first hand through television what undoubtedly is a heavily edited experience involving paid individuals, doing so may prove in being the next best thing to attending an actual classroom before heading out the door towards engaging in your very own ghost hunting experience, yet there are many additional preparations of which first should be con- sidered before you do so. First you must consider what exactly it is you are hoping to achieve with your first ghost hunt, which is whether or not ghosts do exist and if your ghost hunt should involve a specific location such as a site, home, or building, as to whether it truly is haunted or not. At this stage is where many newer groups make their very first mistake. They attempt to learn the trade as they go, during an actual investigation where making mistakes is not always forgivable, especially where they may prove costly or even deadly. Ghost hunting, like anything else in life, requires dedication and practice in order to become profi- cient at it. You don’t just watch a television program and become an instant expert. Such programming never spends the time to create a comprehension regarding preparation or expectation. — 62 —

Paranormal Investigator Magazine A Night of Hotel Haunts By Andrea Aplin If you are looking for a quaint bed-and-breakfast with a side of friendly spirit activity, look no further than the Mason House Inn. Located in small town Bentonsport, IA, the Mason House has become a top attraction for paranormal enthusiasts due to consistent reports of activity and interaction. As a birthday gift, I was given a chance to participate in the Ghost Hunter classes hosted by “the” re- nowned investigator Christopher Moon. However, tucked into one of the rooms for the evening, I was unaware that the most interesting and intense of my ghostly experiences would occur after the completion of the class. After classes were complete, my team and I headed up to Room 5 for the night. We had decided to turn in after spending some time taking many photographs, EVPs, and video evidence. Of course, “turning in” meant little for me—a chronic insomniac, especially when the room was practically “buzzing” with spirit activity. I took some time to review the photographs I had taken with my digital camera, and was stunned at the sheer number of bright, unmistakable orbs that permeated the room. Happy with my results, I decided to try to get some rest and shut out the lights. — 72 —
A Night of Hotel HauntsAfter closing my eyes for just a few moments,I got the distinct sensation of movement closeto my bed. Since the Mason House is a histor-ic inn, the rooms do not contain televisions ormodern technologies that might bring a smallamount of light into the room; thus, the roomwas pitch black. While I could definitely sensemovement, I could not see anything. Defeated,I laid back down and shut my eyes. Almost in-stantly I began to hear the murmurs of a conver-sation between two men, seemingly right next tomy head. While I could not make out what theywere saying, the give and take of a conversa-tional pattern was unmistakable. The location ofthe voices directly corresponded to where I hadsensed movement just moments before, leadingme to conclude that the two were related. At this point I was wide awake, both intrigued by what I was sensing and hearing, but also frustrat- ed because I could not see a thing, not even my hand waving in front of me. Feeling defeated, I tried to turn my mind off to the sensory overload going on around me. Suddenly, the doorknob of the door leading to the hallway starting rattling and turning with force. This lasted for several minutes, while I sat paralyzed in my bed, won- dering what would happen next. Suddenly, the rattling stopped very abruptly, and all was quiet. During this time I was laying on my side fac- ing the door, the only illumination was a sliver of light from the hallway underneath the door; there were no shadows, no feet outlines to indi- cate the presence of a live human manipulating the door handle. This was clearly spirit. After this excitement, I assumed that I had reached the end of my spirit interaction for the night and made the decision to actually try to catch some sleep. Apparently, spirit had other ideas. Around the room were beautiful, antique marble-topped dressers. The dresser direct- ly next to my bed also had a large mirror. In — 73 —
Paranormal Investigator Magazine the dead silent room, all of a sudden, something was lifted off of the dresser nearest my bed and slammed down with great force. Whatever the object was, it was hard, and the sound made as it was slammed onto the marble top was unmis- takable. Because it was so unexpected, and so loud, I elicited a sound (ahem, scream) which is very unbefitting of a paranormal enthusiast like myself. As it was so loud and startling, I immedi- ately called to my two team members to see what they thought it was, somehow, through all of this commotion, they remained peacefully asleep. After all of this, I was thrilled: I felt that I had truly experienced some significant spirit interaction. Once again, I lay down on my side, as I faced the marble-topped dresser with the mirror next to my bed, ready to succumb to sleep; I closed my eyes…only to open them seconds later as I again felt the sensation of movement close to my bed. I glanced at the mirror and thought that I saw some- thing moving. At this point I was exhausted and more than a little nerve-wracked since I was the only person in the room who was witnessing all of this activity. I sat for several moments, sleepily contemplating whether I wanted to turn around to investigate. Was I prepared for what I might find in the room with me? — 74 —
A Night of Hotel HauntsMy curiosity got the best of me as I slowly satup in bed and looked around the room. I will“never” forget what I saw in that moment. Sit-ting there on the end of the other bed, wheremy team members were sleeping peacefully, was a small, luminescent orange ball of light. Isat staring, unmoving, un breathing, complete-ly and utterly stunned by what was in front ofme. The light rested at the foot of the bed for afew moments, and then suddenly zipped up intothe corner of the ceiling with such speed thatit was almost impossible to follow. As soon asit reached that corner, it immediately bouncedacross the room into the opposite corner, thendown to the floor, then up to the ceiling again…all the while I am following it with my eyes, whipping my head back and forth as it makesits quick passage around the room. The way itwas moving was similar to a game of ping pong, but with high-powered electric balls that travelat the speed of light. At the time it seemed thatwhoever encapsulated this spirit energy did notnotice that I saw them at the foot of the bed, andonce they did, had made an effort to lose my fo-cus on them. I can still see the traces of orangelight in my mind to this day.Since that night at the Mason House Inn, I have Bio for Andrea Aplinretold this single most enlightening paranormalencounter I have ever had to many ears, some Andrea Aplin, 29, is a paranormal enthusiastdisbelieving, many intrigued.
