Discover Your Plan THE INDIGO JEWEL OF THE RAINBOW The world is perfectly planned and balanced. The same water that nourishes the smallest plant and the largest mammal nurtures us too. As much as man struggles to assert his identity to adapt the world to himself, he is still bound by the same natural laws. What made us so different, I wondered, because after all, the reflection in the mirror competed fiercely for food and space with the other creatures we share the planet with. I came to understand that the only thing that separates us is the spark of the universal soul prevalent in all human beings making them spiritual. This uniqueness is evident in the consciousness and freewill afforded only to man. This resides in the higher self and it is from here that all the nobler virtues endowed to man emanate. There is a plan for everything in the perceptible and imperceptible world, this Mami confirmed. The discovery of our own mission, or purpose in life, puts us into harmony with the universal soul, which supports and sustains us at all times. Whether we live in the East or the West, whether we are rich or poor, a doctor or farm worker, this hierarchy is limited to the material and finite world of our physical existence. Yet within our own circumstance and particular situation lies a destination and a personal plan. It is the discovery of this that leads inevitably to happiness. Though the seeds of our exhalted destiny exist within our grasp, alas they cannot be reached and plucked. Instead we have to center our life in the higher self, which will allow us to discern the language of the universal soul, recognize its pulse and enable us to walk in its flow. Inevitably the laws of the universe will conspire to reveal
to us our personal plan.
Love Why do you cry? Why do you form a veil across my eyes, Blurring the Beautiful Sight?(3) There are many things in life, which are so obvious, yet often we are blind to them. This I came to understand with respect to the final piece I hungered for. I recalled a conversation with Mami whom I asked probingly about the real nature of the universal soul. “He was unique, above all and beyond imagination. Though he is known by the communities past and present with different names, there was only one reality whose language is love.” Tell me more about this love I had asked. “Love manifests wherever the divine reality is contemplated for it is the fragrance of the infinite,” Mami had assured me. This love is indeed the glue that holds everything together, an eternal spring that nurtures the natural beauty and balance in our cosmos. Like the fish that went in search for water, we seek love, yet every second of our life we are submerged in its ceaseless flow. We just need to awaken to this realization for in this is our triumph. I came to the realization that though the created world could not contain nor perceive the vastness of love radiating from the sustainer, the heart of a human in whom resided the seven jewels of the rainbow could, for it was the nexus. When we nourish the rainbow seeds within us with love, that nucleus of the supreme, we will witness a harvest unthinkable and an ascent unimaginable, which is our emergence from ignorance to enlightenment! So express all the jewels of the rainbow, meditate; subdue pride; be non-judgmental; be generous; express your higher self; trust life as a lesson; discover your plan;
with undying love, that agape which is selfless at all times. In this will the seven precious seeds bloom, surrendering to you the greatest treasure of all, the wisdom of the ages and the feeling of life. This is my prayer and your destiny.
