IntroductionAs time passes, we as healthcare professionals be- lieve that our role is not only to treat illness but to help prevent it as well. Science is rapidly progressing in the two fields equally, diagnosis and management, and there- fore the more we know about illnesses the more we find that many of our current diseases are largely contributed to lifestyle and diet. From Cancers to diabetes to hypertension and heart diseases to different kinds of allergies and hy- persensitivities, are all proven to be mostly related to causes that could be prevented by proper diet and lifestyle. Our busy lives nowadays unfortunately has opened the door to a multibillion dollar fast food industry all around us that is consuming our well- ness as well as our children’s. It’s time to open our eyes to what we consume and how we consume it to make sure we are living a healthier life and enjoying every moment of it. It’s all about choices we make for ourselves and for our beloved ones that draws the outline of our current and future health.
