He competed at the Highland Games at Matlock Farm in Derbyshire on the 25th of August, competing in various event such as Caber toss, Stone Throw, Dinny Stones and a 9t Tractor Pull. He was competing to raise awareness for Men’s Mental Health in conjunction with the charity Leeds Minds. Zac is an ambassador for Men’s Suicide Prevention after overcoming severe depression with losing his mother to alcoholism. He managed to Raise £290 of his £1000 target at the Highland Games. Zac also competed in Leed’s Strongest Man competition and came 2nd! LEW BARNSLEY RISE TO THE CHALLENGE The lads from our Barnsley branch Thank you to everyone from Sellars Electrical, JJ Electrical teamed up with a few of their customers Solutions Ltd, and Greenwood & Copley Ltd who were in June to take on the UK 3 Peaks challenge involved with this fundraiser! for charity. The National 3 Peaks challenge involves climbing Scarfell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon, the 3 highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales, within 24 hours. It is more than double the ascent of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks that the team completed last year, a combined walking distance of 23 miles, and a total driving distance of 462 miles. After starting early hours on Saturday morning, the team finished in just over 23 hours and raised £789 in total for the Electrical Industries Charity and the Barnsley Hospice.
