The custom-built facility will increase capacity and productivity for logistical services to customers in Germany and surrounding countries. On a 20,000 m2 plot in an industrial area of Saarland, the site was chosen to maximize delivery links throughout Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and eastern Europe. The warehouse can handle 16,000 pallets using high racks and automated vertical storage. Optimas has also expanded into the Japanese market with a new ware- house facility in Ageo City. The new site supports OEM customers who currently operate supply frameworks with Opti- mas in the region.
