MINISTRYINTERNSHIPThe MI program has three important objectives:1) To assist in the participant’s theologicaldevelopment and discernment through study,discussion and application.2) To equip and train participants for potentialleadership in the local church, through formaltheological training, and the opportunity to servethe local church in an increased capacity.3) To provide a fellowship context for evaluation of aparticipant’s call, qualification, character and gifting,for the possible deployment in to future gospelministry within our local church, more broadlywithin SG, and beyond.

PASTORALRESIDENCYThe content of the program focuses on:- The centrality of the gospel and the role of God’sWord in pastoral ministry.- A theology of what a healthy, biblical church lookslike; the priority and importance of the local churchin God’s redemptive purposes for the world; and theman’s role within it as shepherd.- Exposure to, greater practical understanding of,and opportunities to serve and cultivate experiencein the differing and various areas/ministry spheres ofchurch life.- The development of a man's leadership and giftingtowards greater effectiveness, together with thediscipling and mentoring of the man’s charactertowards greater maturity.
