Week1 Title: Mother of Missing Boy with Autism Cries While Pleading forHis Return :'I Want My Baby Back' Author: Dave Quinn Source: https://people.com/human-interest/missing-boy-autism-north-carolina-maxwell-ritch-mother-pleading-for-return/ Summary On Tuesday, the mother of Maddox Ritch — the 6-year-old boy who disappeared from a North Carolina park over the weekend — appeared at a press conference where she pleaded for help locating her child. Maddox, who has autism and limited verbal skills, was walking with his father and another adult at Gastonia’s Rankin Lake Park around 1:30 p.m. local time on Saturday when he took off running. Maddox hasn’t been seen since, and more than a dozen law enforcement agencies and have launched a days-long search to find the little boy. My reaction/reflection: After I read the news and watched the video. I could see and feelhow sad and heartbroken the mother has been all over a week whileher beloved sun has been disappeared. Moreover, I do know how badshe wants her son back safely. Prey for her son to be safe and sound, please.New words learned: (At least five new words that you have learned) New Words Definitions1.
