Join us for conversations over coffee or tea before worship! Kids at Coffee Hour This Sunday through September 3rd, all students will join the Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Hall starting at 10 am. We will have a Kids’ Corner set up in the Fellowship Hall with toys, arts and craft supplies, books, and donuts. At 10:30 am, parents/guardians are asked to escort their kids (kindergarten and under) to the Kids’ Place to sign in for childcare for the worship hour. At that time, childcare will be provided until 12:30 pm. All kids must be signed in and signed out by their parent(s)/guardian(s) as our childcare policy requires. We encourage children 1st grade and older to join us in the worship service. Deacons’ Meeting After Worship Today, after worship, the deacons will have their regularly scheduled meeting in the Fellowship Hall. If you are an active deacon, please make every effort to attend. Lunch will be provided. Museum of Fine Arts Austin Art Removal After worship today Charlene Franz will be uninstalling art in the Pastors’ Hallway near the Alley entrance of the Sanctuary building. Harrell Book Club Meets on Aug. 14 The Harrell Book Club will meet for lunch on Monday, August 14, at 12:30 PM. Back to School Family Pool Party! On Saturday, August 19, the Calzada Keoun family is hosting a pool party for the children, youth, & families of UBC! The party will begin at 10:00 AM and will wrap up at 1:00 PM. Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Bring the family to celebrate the start of another great year! On Monday, August 21, from 9-11 AM, UBC staff will set up a table on Guadalupe to hand out water bottles and UBC swag to passersby. If you’re available, join us as we welcome students and staff back to school! Church Conference Next Sunday After worship next Sunday, August 20, UBC will have our regularly scheduled Church Conference. Please don’t miss this important meeting! Children are Welcome at UBC! Children of all ages are welcome in worship at any time! Located in the rear of the sanctuary, there are sensory worship bags, children's tables, and rocking chairs available. All ages are welcome to stay for the entirety of the worship service, or children in kindergarten and younger may depart after the Children’s Message for playtime at the Kids’ Place.
