It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever Global Health Day. To give a helping hand in this initiation IQAC & Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension [DLLE] of ZSCT’s Thakur Polytechnic and Thakur Shyamnarayan Degree College took a noble initiative of Making an inspiring documentary on AIDS Awareness, with an active motion of [HATE THE DISEASE NOT THE DISEASED]. There was a thrill and excitement to see your friends after a long time approximately after two long years. There was a bucket full or maybe a tank full of conversations to be shared from conducting events to running around the corridor we came so far that again we sit back in our homes in front of the computers struggling with network issues. With technologies getting advanced every second, we might lead to healthier lifestyle, but as every coin has two sides, it is also important to look at the other side of the story. Technology might make the human race a bit lazy. As we all can see the kind of effect technology had during the Covid-19 situation. In my opinion, Life would have changed tremendously and of course both in good and bad ways. Taking into consideration the fact that we have everything available online, right from a soap to education. We never know what future has in store for us. To predict one's future has always been something humans have looked forward to but it's actually impossible.

I know and I understand how does it feels to be ignored where there are so many things coming up. We usually know that someday or the other we will be replaced no matter what but still you can say I am the one who loves reading and spending time writing you and so here I am leaving all my work behind, sitting here to have an amicable chat with you. Oh! Sorry to confabulate with you on a different level. There are so many things I have to share with you. To begin with, a lot has changed since you left. People have learned to find their happiness elsewhere and have found new mediums to connect with other people and I am no exception to it. They are always with us wherever we go and they are so efficient that they not just connect you with your loved ones but entertain you when you feel bored. Isn't that superb? We are loving this change. It is amazing how things change and one adapts to it in a moment. I guess this is what development is but then I think what is the point of development when you forget your roots? Right?

86 When I found you, I was so happy to decipher what is written inside no matter how many times I have read you before but there is some magic hidden in letters that brings me back to start writing one, for my loved ones, and believe me, I have written few for my closed ones. The smell these letters have after years of longing still carry the fragrance of the beautiful words inside, time passed and the memories of the writer that reminds you of your beloved ones and brings back so many memories which you will never find in screenshots on your phone or pictures taken. Call me old school, but I still feel writing letters should have never failed to compete in the race of time and should have never vanished. When the letter reaches to the one for whom you have written all you have to see is the happiness in the eyes of your dear ones which one can never see when the blue tick on WhatsApp arrives, feeling offended of why they did not reply. A letter holds so much love inside its wrapped case that it is almost impossible to ever find another medium like it. I feel letters are a key to a heart filled with love and an imaginative soul. If I ever come across a question as what trend would I love to witness in the future that was left in the past? I would answer without even sparing a second \"The trend of writing letters\". In this generation where digitization is growing at a rapid speed, I think writing letters and emails should be given a huge part in it. 95 Role of volunteers in social service ARYA JAIN (SY-BAMMC) Social service refers to the act of selfless help to the people in need by choice of free will for the benefit of the wider community by an individual, group or institution. In recent years, the government has recognized the critical contribution that volunteering makes in building a strong and cohesive society. It has now become an essential act of citizenship. Volunteering positively impacts economic development, social inclusion and individuals themselves. Today, volunteers are accepted in all sorts of private and public sectors. The reason is, it appeals to the charitable nature of human society and is a way to provide high-quality services to those that might not have the easiest time getting them. This in turn helps enrich the quality of life of a nation as a whole which in turn benefits the economic status of a country. Volunteering also helps individuals in having a sense of belonging and making meaningful relationships as they discover people from different backgrounds and communities doing acts of kindness out of choice. Just the process of interacting, planning and executing something not done for monetary gain increases the willingness of non-volunteers to give it a try.

I have better things to do !” what people are forgetting is that each one of them is a part of community , a community that is not perfect and that the government needs to take care of other things that requires more attention . People helping others ,they are also helping themselves(volunteering).Volunteering is not the new subject but people did not perceive it before because as time goes by, volunteering is becoming more and more popular since each year more people volunteer . It has become an important worldwide force today. It not only have a definite place in modern era but they perform a number of functions for the welfare of its members, the development of a country , integration and solidarity of the society and nation .voluntary organization provide services to the poor, needy ,neglected, the old aged and the sick people. They not only provide free services to the urban but also to its rural folk and made different efforts and initiate different programmes at local, national and at international level to aware the common people. They perform their duties in emergency situations like droughts and floods etc at massive scale. The main functions of the voluntary organization is to identifying the needs of individuals ,groups , communities , and initiate programmes and projects to meet them on their own or with the grant- in -aid of the government. Voluntary organization is being increasingly used as development agencies by policy makers because they provide more accountable, effective and equitable services in many areas than public or private agencies. Voluntary organization are independent, non profitable, democratic, and secular which work for the welfare of the society and enriching the lives of citizens and progress of nation. The voluntary agencies in India have gradually changed and widened their outlook towards overall socio -economic development of the society.

The voluntary organization provides social services to the poor, needy, neglected, the old aged and the sick in India and making India shine. They made different efforts not only to reduce poverty or inequality in society but also put control on social evils which includes drug addiction, suicide, dowry child marriage, etc. voluntary organization also provide their services in emergency situations like droughts, floods etc. on a massive scale. It is believed that voluntary organization not only teaches essential civics skills such as trust, compromise and reciprocity but it also binds society together by creating bridges between diverse groups . They work for development, welfare of people so, their ample service is to bind people towards progress and towards well being of the society, nation and country.
