The fish Who Swam Through Danger

A big shoal of fish lived in a big flowing river.

The fish didn’t know that humans existed.

One day, the fishes were approached by an otter who swam the whole river.

“Don’t go ahead!” the otter warned, “the humans have laid a net to catch you all.” “Human?”, one of the fishes asked. “There’s nothing called human in this world.”

While all the fishes swam ahead, not heeding the otter’s advice, but one little fish stayed back.

As warned by the otter, the area had been discovered by fishermen, who had spread a strong net.

The ignorant fishes, who paid no attention to the otter’s words, swam right into the net.

The little fish with the courage to break away from the group was the only fish that stayed alive.All the other fishes were captured.

Moral: Always heed the words of those wiser than you.
