Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah Kindergarten Activities Kindergarten Learning Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah School provides our kindergarten students with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and study skills that they will use throughout their schooling. The development of self-esteem is one of the important goals of kindergarten. Ibn Rohd Al Jazirah School Kindergarten classes are designed to expand your child’s development in key areas. Science Introducing students to science at a young age assists in their brain development. Doing science experiments helps to develop a child's resourcefulness, particularly their skills at goal- setting, planning, and problem-solving. It can take place on social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms and mobile phones. It is repeated behavior, aimed at scaring, angering or shaming those who are targeted. WELCOME RAMADAN Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah School welcomed Ram adan Kareem with celebration. Ramadan is the ninth and holiest month on the Islamic lunar calendar. The holy Month of Ramadan is where Muslims have religious obligations to fast every day for the whole month of April from dawn to dusk. Those fasting days sustain Muslims from eating, drinking and sinning. There are various reasons why Ramadan revolves around the need to fast every day. PAGE 18 NEWSLETTER

EID CELEBRATION Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah school did a Eid celebration which is a important part of education as they can help to create a sense of national or cultural community among the students. Celebration of festivals bring students closer to traditional belief. PAGE 20 NEWSLETTER

Cultural Day Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah school organized their cultural celebration by assigning different countries or regions to each classroom. Students then complete different activities related to that culture and share their work at the event. Another approach is to have your event area set up with stations for different regions (for example, an area for each continent), and then look for ways for all students to contribute something to each region. Science fair is important because it teaches critical thinking skills and instills a passion for innovation. Parents committee Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah parents committee primary role is to engage families in the education and development of their children, promote positive change at the school, develop collaborative networks and work together to deliver a calendar of social and school events. Teachers committee Ibn Roshd Al Jazirah teachers committee primary role is to manage teaching activities by coordinating with teachers and to ensure that teaching on school days for all classes are maintained.
