DESIGN PROPOSALS Site Selection Informed by their extensive studies, students set out to find suitable sites for the Expansion of TSC. Three such sites were identified. The first proposal was to utilize the entire area (3.84 acres) of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC), which is set to relocate entirely. The second proposal envisions designing in a partial area of the AEC (2.02 acres), replacing those structures which have already been relocated. The rest of the program was proposed in the University Swimming Pool Complex Site. The final proposal rethinks the 4.13 acres site of the Vice Chancellor’s Bungalow; preserving the historic structure while facilitating the growing needs of the Teacher-Student Center therein. copyright BRAC University 94
