DIY Keepsake Envelope The finished envelope will measure approximately 4 ¾” x 6 ½”, depending on your folds. To create your keepsake envelope: ❑ Print out the template on the next page. ❑ Cut out template on the solid lines using scissors or a straight edge and a craft knife. ❑ When cutting make sure you hit the corner verticals in the correct place. ❑ Fold on the dash lines folding in the side flaps first. ❑ Fold in the side flaps. ❑ Use a glue stick to apply glue the bottom flap. Only glue where the bottom flap will overlap the side flaps. ❑ Carefully fold up the bottom flap, smooth it out, and apply pressure for a few seconds. ❑ Open the envelope to ensure you haven’t glued the front and back together. ❑ For a stiffer envelope, print the template out on cardstock or scrapbook paper.
