FLORAL DESIGN DECK Pich/Morris Wedding August 31, 2023 CAPRI, ITALY

MOOD A cozy rooftop garden by the sea, where ethereal minimalism and whimsically femme modernity converge

THE FLORAL VIBE

PERSONAL FLOWERS

THE BRIDAL BOUQUET The Bridal Bouquet will follow one of the following concepts: A \"Mono-Bouquet\" featuring a bundle of blooms in a single floral variety - phalaenopsis orchids (peach/pink color as pictured in the floral variety page) or roses (distant drum or koko loko) OR 2. A more dynamic bouquet featuring phalaenopsis orchids and roses in complementary hues Regardless of which direction the bride chooses, we are aiming for the bouquet to primarily feature face/focal flowers. So, please avoid the more delicate, wispy floral varieties in this particular arrangement.

THE GROOM BOUTONNIERE The groom will be wearing a cream suit, so we would love to incorporate some of the layered pink tones in his boutonniere to give his attire a pop of color that suits the setting. Overall, we'd love to aim for the colors on the right, but the shapes/textures/dimension of the ones pictured below. For the boutonniere, please DO NOT use: 1. Orchids (we want to keep this small/petite in size) 2. Dyed flowers (the couple wants to prioritize their flowers looking natural and authentic... plus dyed flowers can sometimes risk stain marks on the suit)

THE CEREMONY

THE CEREMONY DESIGN A wild and overgrown meadow of ground arrangements that start lower and crescendo into a waist-high semi-circle behind the couple. It should not be so tall that it blocks the view, but it should not be so short that it feels anticlimactic. Overall, I would anticipate it needing to be 3.5-4 feet tall at its highest point. We can incorporate more of those textured filler flowers and palms here, but we also want to be conscious of the terra cotta planters this backdrop will sit between. My biggest fear is that the aesthetics will clash, so I would love to hear your thoughts on this concept overall! I'm hoping to rent these rose-colored metal benches from GEG Party Rentals and would love to have some of the ground arrangements spill out around the legs of the first two rows so the backdrop doesn't feel too disconnected from the guest seating

ALTERNATIVE CEREMONY IDEA Another idea is to have seating on both sides of the pre-existing planters, so it creates a sort of circle around the couple, who would stand in the middle. In this scenario, I think we could lean into sprucing up the planters more (which honestly might be nice to do regardless so there's a sense of continuity between all the parts of the day/rooftop spaces) My biggest fear here is that I don't want it to feel too tropical. It should still fit into that ethereal, modern minimalist, natural vibe that we'll see on the dinner table
