Internet Browser and Audio SettingsOur website works on all internet browsers; however, each browser may need a one-timeadjustment to view videos.Chrome Users: In Chrome, select the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner. Select “Settings” Scroll to the bottom of your page and select “Advanced” In the “Privacy & Security” section, select “Content Settings” Select “Flash” o Ask first: (Set to grey) o Block sites from running Flash: (Set on Grey) o Select “Allow”, Select “Add”; then add 1. www.davidlewis.com 2. davidlewis.comThe user will need to close chrome and re-launch www.davidlewis.comAt this time the user should be able to view our videos via Chrome.Internet Explorer Users:For any users utilizing Internet Explorer, please ensure they download the following link.https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/At this time the user should be able to view our videos via Internet Explorer.No Audio:Ensure your speakers are on; volume up and mute is off. How to Access Training Website1. Log onto: www.DavidLewis.com On the top of the main screen is our menu.2. Select “Login” at the top right corner3. How to Access Training VideosEach module has multiple chapters. All chapters should be viewed in sequence along with the sub-topicvideos. Upon completion of the chapter, each participant should take the chapter test.1. Based on your position, you may have access to any of the following modules. Sales Winners Vs. Losers Common Mistakes Salespeople Make Service BDC F&I Service Advisor Secondary Service Management BDC Stress Management Sales Management Phone Operator/Receptionist Leadership Sales Meeting Train the Trainer Based on your job title, you will view up to 15 categories of modules. *any categories in red means you have not been granted access*2. To display the video sessions within a module, hover over the “>” symbol and left click to expand the chapter.3. Select the “play” icon to view the video.David Lewis & Associates, Inc. 5
Receiving Proper Video CreditIn order to receive proper credit for watching videos you must follow two steps: 1. Ending Splash Screen This screen (“Splash Screen”) will appear at the ending of every video.The moment you see this screen, the video has ended and time to go back to the main menu. By doing so, youMUST click the “Sessions List” button, located at the bottom right corner of the video.2. Logging Out View as many videos as time permits, then Logout to receive proper credit. *If you get interrupted, we suggest you Logout to ensure proper credit. Did You Receive Proper Credit? The next time you “login”, expand the chapter to view the percentage of completion. Regardless of the percentage displayed, you will receive video session credit on management reports. Example below shows 96% completed. If you are not getting proper credit for videos viewed, please contact us for assistance. ** It is not necessary to run the video to 100% and/or past the splash screen ** Note: Selecting “Sessions List” after watching videos and selecting “Logout” whenyou are done training for the day are required to get credit for watching video sessions. Do not forget to logout or the system will recognize no activity and log you out behind the scenes. If this happens, you will not receive credit for the videos viewed.David Lewis & Associates, Inc. 6
How to Take Chapter Tests After completing a chapter, the participant should take the required chapter test. 1. Select “Get Certified Test Center”. 2. Select “Take Chapter Test” for the desired chapter. Save & Exit Chapter TestsWhen “Take Chapter Test” is selected, you have an option to “Save & Exit” at any time. This will savethe test and will allow you to resume where you left off.David Lewis & Associates, Inc. 7
Resume Chapter Tests When the user returns to resume their test, first expand the chapter in which you where taking the test. Second, click “Resume Test”. This feature is designed to save each user time, versus starting over again. Note: If the user does not “expand” the chapter and only selects “Take Chapter Test” they will create multiple tests as shown below.The user can delete any test, if desired. Select the “trash bucket” icon and remove.The following screen will appear: Select Ok to delete test.David Lewis & Associates, Inc. 8
How to View Chapter Test ResultsThe chapter test results can be viewed by following the steps below. 1. After you enter your login and password this screen will appear. Select “Get Certified Test Center” 2. Each chapter test has an “expand” option, which allows the user to view the chapter test results. Select “ > ” to the left of the chapter test you want to review. 3. By “Expanding”, the user can view the start and end date & time, Score and view results. DLA Certification Program DLA Certification can be achieved by attending classes at our training center or completing online assignments. Training Center CertificationUpon completion of the required courses each student will be certified as either a “DLA Certified Salesperson” or “DLA Certified Sales Manager”. Online CertificationUpon completion of any online series with accompanying certification test each student will be certified for that specific series.All videos within each series must be viewed with proper credit 11 and a minimum test score of >80% required.
