• Special actions: In this case we have selected internal moments or also known as 51 tele-promotions. This is about launching the ad within the program itself in which a member of the program spends a brief time commenting on the attributes and benefits Market Plan of the advertiser. It is usually accompanied by some graphic element as a skirt on the screen or even the spot on the shared screen or a lower window. YouTube Due to the relatively low costs of placing an ad on the YouTube’s audiovisual platform, we will allocate 5% of the marketing expenses budget there. Using YouTube algorithm and all the data collected by Google, we will position the ads by applying the following segmentation (which we will place on the Google Display Network): • Demographic limitation: Denmark • We would include our adds in channels related with motorsport, sports, healthy lifes- tyle and karting. Posters and Display Ads in Digital Media The marketing plan established for the posters and display ads will allocate 30% of the budget for marketing expenses. Since it is about reaching the largest number of customers, we will differentiate between Online and Offline as different ways of advertising. Online The posters uploded at E-commerce pages would reach those who are looking for something to buy at that time. Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, Zalando are just four of the many online E-commer- ces where we could place our posters. Motorsport newspapers or karting websites are other online points that our customer between 26 and 60 would tend to frequent more, which represents 93% of our potential customers. Also, announcing our product on these platforms enables us to reach people with a love for motors- port, which would be a 76% of our customers, according to the survey results. Social networks are other online points that our client most frequent, specifically those be- tween 16 and 39 years old, which is a 67% of them. Thanks to the algorithms that these incor- porate in their applications, we can place our ads for those who are looking for gyms, karting, fitness or motorsport. Possibly the most economical and effective advertising in the strategy of a sports center is digi- tal advertising in the media. Today, it is very easy to create campaigns of this kind without being an advertising expert.
Displaying advertising in digital media: • Allows you to place banner ads in premium media, magazines and top-rated web pa- ges. • Provide visibility and brand prestige by advertising your gym in the main media. 52 • Allows to segment geographically and select the domains in which it would be best to promote your sports center. • Allows you to retarget to show your ads again to the users who visited your website. • Enanbles you to control spendings and investments at all times and get truthful impact reports. Market Plan • In addition, you could use other tools such as Facebook Ads or LinkedIn Ads that will allow you to segment in detail and adjust your ads to your customers, creating a great virality. Offline To carry out an offline marketing campaign, we will focus on reaching our potential customers in the places where they most frequent or strategic spots that make our advertising much more effective. Thanks to the recognition of ARUS Motorsport as a consolidated company, establi- shed in Europe and with great relationships with all the big fish of the motor world, agreements have been reached to position our signage in large motor events. Advertising signs will be placed in University colleges, bus stops, shopping centers, local car workshops, parks and near gyms or sports centers. As with television commercials, these pos- ters will be placed all around Copenhagen.
Influence Marketing 53 This technique involves identifying opinion leaders who can help a brand to connect more Market Plan naturally and spontaneously with its target audience. For our product, it will be focused, abo- ve all, on bringing fitdriv-e closer to motorsport fans and Danish people in general. This type of marketing transmits more credibility in the message, more connection between brand and fan, generating more experiences and fewer messages, making the recommendations more credible. Of course we will make use of the ARUS Motorsport client and contact portfolio, using its influence in the automotive sector to access more easily personalities who can speak with knowledge about the value of ARToons. In the first year some of the personalities we are coun- ting on are: • Fernando Osuna: CEO of ARUS Motorsport. Founder of the company and expert in the world of motorsport, with more than 10 years of experience. A figure recognized all over Europe and respected for having brought the name of ARUS to the level of a major racing car brands in just 7 years. • Miguel Angel Castro Arroyo: Grand Rector of the University of Seville. Ambassador of the ARUS brand, being a Seville company formed mostly by former students of the University of Seville. • • Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel: former Formula 1 drivers and two of the most recog- nized motor world personalities at European and global level. ARUS Motorsport customers, they were two of the first to put faith on the brand by acquiring one of the first models of ART-14, and have already worked on other occasions for ARUS brand projects such as ART- Go or Princesarus. • Carlos Sainz: young Formula 1 driver, who has earned a place in Formula 1 world. He would definitely have a lot of influence in young people who are keen on motorsport. • Joltter (Instagram: @joltter): he is a Copenhagen influencer in the world of fashion, footba- ll, lifestyle, sports and footwear. He is the second influencer from Copenhagen with more followers in Instagram (199k), so he would definitely be an essential part of our marketing plan. Street Marketing Events Once a month we will organize events in parks and squares in Copenhagen with the aim of showing citizens who we are and what fitdriv-e consists of. For this, we will have several bicycles from our eco-power room, three ART20-E simulators and a screen on which virtual reality will be projected, so that everyone can see it. The mechanism will be the same as in the gym: the client must run a few minutes on the bicycle, generating power and driving minutes, to then be able to enjoy the simulator experience. At the end of the Street marketing day there will be a ranking of the best times in the simula- tor and the winners will have discounts and offers in fitdriv-e, with the aim of joining our great family of members.
Our role in networks Fitdriv-e will have a powerful website, Instagram and Twitter account, Facebook Page and a YouTube and Twitch channel. We will use these platforms to generate content such as: 54 • Eco-power sessions • Compilation of the best circuit laps of the day • Nutrition and healthy lifestyle tips • Latest news from the world of motorsport • Workout routines Market Plan • Classes of crossfit, zumba, body pump, body combat, etc. This will represent the 15% of the cost. Marketing Plan Dimension • Social media content: 5% • Signage and advertisements in digital media: 15% • YouTube: 5% • TV: 15% • Street marketing events: 25% • Urban racing: 35% Urban Racing Another idea for our marketing campaign is a race through Copenhagen, making the city a cir- cuit. The pilots could be the aforementioned influencers. In this way, these races would become an event of important dimensions that would raise the image of fitdriv-e and would attract thousands of people, both those who are within our target market and the rest of the popula- tion of Copenhagen. If they are successful, the model could be extended to other major Euro- pean cities.

Initial Investment Once considered the company activities that will be carried out and the facilities required, the Business department estimates that the initial investment will be 9,797,065.15 €. Additionally, the operating expenses, the working capital and the provision of losses must be 58 covered with the first-year investment. Then, to the initial investment, 702,934.85 € must be added. In order to fund the whole investment, the company will look for external financing: • Equity: The shareholders will share 5,000,000€, divided in two main parts: Finnances ▪ Arus Motorsport: the mother company, will invest 3,500,000€, becoming the biggest shareholder. ▪ Private shareholder: They will invest the 1,500,000€ left. • Bank financing: 5,500,000 loan, 4% yearly interest will be granted. There is a two-years grace period. In the 3rd fiscal year, the company must start to pay back the loan in a 10% credit amortization. Operating Expenses 59 The Business department has estimated the operating expenses breakdown for the 5-year pe- Finnances riod for the “Likely” scenario. The operating cost are divided in two groups: • Fixed costs: these are the costs that don’t change through the years due to an increase in the number of clients (Electricity expenses for the fitness room, circuit and ARTs, wa- ter supplies). In these groups therev are also taken into account the energy saving from the solar panels and eco-power machines in order to minimise the fixed costs. • • Variable costs: these are the costs which change every year due to oscillation in the number of clients or company’s strategy. All the costs that are not included in fixed costs are included in this group, including staff, which is influenced by the number of clients, the greater number of clients the company has, the more workers the company needs to serve them. As we can see, the year with the highest number of clients is also the one with the greatest operating expenses. Thanks to efficiency, the company will be able to attend the higher number of clients with the lower number of staff without any effects in their experience. The amortization and interest cost have been seen previously. The main items of the income statement are: • Operating expenses: they have been calculated following the forecasted budget where all the expenses are developed in detail. The operating expenses are constant for the three scenarios. • Operating revenues: they have been calculated from the pricing and sales curves for the three scenarios. • EBITDA. We have considered it as key part on the pricing calculation process. The EBITDA for the second year in “Best” and “Likely” Scenarios must be positive, therefore the pricing must be set according to this situation. As It’s shown, the “Best” and “Likely” scenarios are profitable and sustainable, since net income is positive from 2nd year on in both scenarios. For the “Worst” scenario, even though the result for the 5th year is positive, it’s considered as a non-sustainable project due to a very low profit from a very substantial investment. There is an opportunity cost for the investors that must be taken into account.
• Taxes: the corporation tax in Denmark is 22%. The Personal Income Tax is considered in personnel’s gross salary. • Net profit: the company, in the “Best” and “Likely” scenarios, reaches the breakeven point in the second and third year, respectively. The growth of the income curve is higher than the average of the sector, therefore the net profit is set as one of the stren- gths of the company in both scenarios. 61 Operating revenues YEAR 1 YEAR 2 YEAR 3 YEAR 4 YEAR 5 Finnances Operating expenses 878.738,32 € 1.350.108,20 € 1.970.148,45 € 2.683.120,03 € 2.879.244,89 € EBITDA -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € Amortization costs -293.337,65 € 1.511.044,06 € 1.707.168,93 € EBIT -268.855,94 € 178.032,23 € 798.072,49 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € -562.193,60 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € 1.242.188,12 € 1.438.312,98 € Interest costs -220.000,00 € -90.823,71 € 529.216,54 € -176.000,00 € -154.000,00 € EBT 1.066.188,12 € 1.284.312,98 € -782.193,60 € -220.000,00 € -198.000,00 € -310.823,71 € 331.216,54 € BEST YEAR 1 YEAR 2 YEAR 3 YEAR 4 YEAR 5 Operating revenues 1.029.773,36 € 1.705.864,14 € 2.620.011,91 € 3.568.160,78 € 3.828.978,43 € Operating expenses -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € EBITDA 1.447.935,95 € 2.396.084,81 € 2.656.902,46 € Amortization costs -142.302,61 € 533.788,17 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € EBIT -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € 1.179.080,00 € 2.127.228,87 € 2.388.046,52 € Interest costs -411.158,55 € -178.200,00 € EBT -220.000,00 € 264.932,23 € 1.000.880,00 € -121.088,15 € -70.796,78 € Taxes -631.158,55 € -220.000,00 € -220.193,60 € 2.006.140,72 € 2.317.249,74 € Net profit of the period -441.350,96 € -509.794,94 € -€ 44.932,23 € 780.686,40 € 1.564.789,76 € 1.807.454,80 € WORST -631.158,55 € -9.885,09 € Operating revenues 35.047,14 € Operating expenses EBITDA YEAR 1 YEAR 2 YEAR 3 YEAR 4 YEAR 5 Amortization costs 675.146,26 € 870.556,70 € 1.094.146,21 € 1.490.103,76 € 1.599.024,12 € EBIT -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € -1.172.075,97 € Interest costs -496.929,70 € -301.519,27 € EBT -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € -77.929,75 € 318.027,79 € 426.948,15 € Taxes -765.785,65 € -570.375,21 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € -268.855,94 € Net profit of the period -220.000,00 € -220.000,00 € -346.785,70 € -985.785,65 € -790.375,21 € -178.200,00 € 49.171,85 € 158.092,21 € -524.985,70 € -121.088,15 € -70.796,78 € -€ -€ -985.785,65 € -790.375,21 € -€ -71.916,30 € 87.295,43 € -524.985,70 € -€ -19.204,99 € -71.916,30 € 68.090,44 €

Amortization Schedule 63 The business department has decided to follow lineal amortization with mid-term life amortiza- Finnances tion for the more liquid assets and a long-term life for the facilities. This strategy is based on a renovation process for the most used assets in the company. These assets will be used for a high number of clients, so they must be changed sooner than usual. Anyway, since we cannot estimate a fully correct life expectancy for these assets, we have decided to estimate a mid-life amortization. Then, after that number of years, the com- pany will decide if they are still useful for the company or if they must be renewed. In the first scenario, we will estimate another amortization schedule for the rest of the life expectancy of the asset. In the second one, they will be sold, considering their residual value as the selling price. The company has decided not to follow an accelerated amortization for the ARTs following two criteria: • The driving coaches will ensure there is no inappropriate use of the ARTs. • The ARTs will pass through a full revision each 3 weeks, in order to ensure the security and the lack of any technical defect. Balance sheets The business department has developed the balance sheet forecast for the next five years in a likely scenario. The most important items of the Balance Sheet are the following ones: • Non-current assets: they all belong to the Initial Investment table. They are organised 64 in two main groups: tangible and intangible assets. There is no forecasted any kind of impairment for the period. Finnances • Current assets: The initial cash bank for the exercise has been calculated following several criteria: ▪ We have considered a substantial outflow of cash during the first two years due to negative results. Therefore, in the initial investment a large amount of cash is requi- red. ▪ Working capital must be 1.5 or higher during the whole horizon in response to unfo- reseen events that make the company negotiate any exceptional liability. The cash bank for the rest of the period is also affected by the company’s strategy that makes mandatory debt amortization as long as it doesn’t break any of the previous rules. • Equity: Since Fitdriv-e is a new ARUS Motorsport’s line of business, the parent com- pany will own the bigger share of the company, investing 3.5 million €. The other 1.5 million € will be provided by private Danish investors. ▪ During the 5-year horizon, the reserves will suffer a big oscillation, as It’s shown in the balance sheet. It goes from a negative amount of 1 million € in the first year, to a 0 amount in the five years. This item may be seen like the worst looking one of the company, but, since the company will not get its operational clients level until the end of the third year, the negative reserves are considered a circumstantial situation that will be solved in the 4th year. In 5th year, the 8% of the period result (80,141 €) will be transferred to reserves. ▪ The period result will reach the breakeven point in the third year, when the net inco- me exceeds the fixed cost. Even though, dividends are not forecasted until 5th year, when the amount will be 18.43% of the amount invested. • Liabilities: ▪ Long term liabilities amount goes from 5.5 million € in the first year to 2.5 million € in the fifth year. This decrease is due to volunteer debt amortization. The interest rate for the initial 10-year debt is 4%. ▪ Short term liabilities have been forecasting following the average billing period for- mula for the negotiated debt. It changes every year due to changes in exploitation expenses.

Electrical (non-drive systems) Units 83 Power Management / Control To monitor the intensity of the systems we use a shunt resistance in each output of the power Annexes manager system. We have 3 values that we use depending on the values of each output to have Wiring / Loom / ECM mounting higher resolution, the power management system send the information to telemetry by can- Battery / Charging System bus protocol and this sends it to the PC to be able to act accordingly . The control is made out Grounding by relays or MOSFET controlled from the microcontroller, the relays are directly controlled by Driver Assist Systems the shutdown circuit to activate all pcb’s. To ensure the systems we have a fuse in each output, Logging / Telemetry and another in the power input of the board and to ensure the power-off , when the contact Special Sensing Technology is removed all outputs contolled by the microcontroller are turned off and the microcontro- ller power will turn off when the kill is disconnected or when the emergency stop button is pressed. We use differents wire sizing since 12AWG to 24 AWG with shields for EMI protecctions. LiFePO4. The 12V battery is charged with a dedicated charger. No generators are mounted on the car. No necessary grounding The dashboard includes leds which alert the driver in case of some special situations, such as: ECU or motor temperature, battery level or the need of pushing a shutdown button. Besides it shows the AMS, IMD and TS OFF indicators. For ending, the RPMs and the value of the previous values are shown by a line made by leds. For logging the data of our vehicle we have designed a pcb which record the data received via CAN Bus or read by sensors directly connected to the pcb. We hardly use specials sensors in our vehicle.
