The separate companies complementing and reinforcing each other,we are now a full-service valuation bureau, employing certified valuers specialised inproperty, contents, art, equipment, plant and machinery. In excess of 40 staff work fromour offices in Arnhem, Badhoevedorp and Rotterdam. 9
having conducted valuations in 15 countriesWe have acted on behalf of clients both within and outside Europe. The objects we havevalued include tank storage companies, power stations, refineries, tank terminals, concretemixing plant and asphalt plant. The valuations concerned the clients’ assets, both forinsurance and commercial purposes such as financial reporting. 10

assigned by 19 government institutionsIn the past year, we carried out short and long-term projects for several municipalities,provinces, district water boards, the Directorate-General for Public Works and WaterManagement (Rijkswaterstaat) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Rijksdienst voorOndernemend Nederland), acting as land agents, valuers and real estate experts. Theseassignments ranged from acquisition of land processes, participating in area developmentprocesses to long-term ground lease valuations. 13

valued on behalf of 111 owners’ associationsOn behalf of owners’ associations throughout the Netherlands we have valued premisesfor insurance purposes. To prevent underinsurance, owners’ associations are advised tohave the reinstatement value of the premises assessed every six years. 18

263 locations of healthcare institutions visitedThe past year we acted on behalf of various care institutions. Valuations of the portfolioswere conducted for financing or insurance purposes. These portfolios include groupresidences, hospitals, residential facilities, facilities for daytime activities, offices andsheltered employment facilities. 21
300 hectares of cultivated land valued within the scope of plot exchangeThe purpose of plot exchange is to improve the parcelling of agricultural companies in anarea. The owners and users concerned jointly draw up an improvement plan for parcellingin the area in question. In addition, purposes, such as the construction of cycle paths,indicated by municipalities, district water boards and site management organisations areincluded. 22

15.25 MWh generated by solar panelsThe aim was to generate 13.06 MWh using 66 panels, which we amply exceeded. At VanAmeyde Waarderingen we believe in sustainable business practices. Not only do we usesolar panels, we also managed to reduce the use of paper considerably last year, thanksto digitisation. 25
in excess of 360 hours spent on permanent educationWe assure the quality of our services by encouraging our staff to join branch and professionalassociations. We have valuers registered in all the divisions of the new NRVT*) register.Insurance valuers are also registered in the VRT*). In addition, we employ machinery andproperty valuers who are members of the international RICS (Royal Institution of CharteredSurveyors). compensation determined to facilitate the construction of 35 kilometres of secondary road On behalf of several provinces, our land agents acquire the land necessary for the construction or extension of secondary roads. We conduct talks with owners and assess the compensation in accordance with the Expropriation Act (Onteigeningswet) and relevant case law. 33
2,155 m2 of castle murals valuedOn behalf of a province we have valued the portfolio for fire insurance purposes. Thisportfolio includes objects like a provincial government building, ships and farms. 34

3,912,426 m3 of oil storage tanks valuedBoth in the Netherlands and abroad we value oil storage terminals for various purposes.These companies transport and offer storage for a wide variety of oil products, gas andchemicals. 37
3 client seminars organisedVan Ameyde likes to share its knowledge with clients. Together with law firm Van der Feltzwe organised three seminars, the subjects of which were state aid and developmentsrelated to expropriation and valuation. 38

a 2.7 kilometres long jetty valuedThe longest jetty valued by us last year is located in China. It concerned a 1.6 kilometreslong approach jetty and a 1.1 kilometres long berthing jetty. The jetty belongs to an oil tankterminal, to be valued for insurance purposes. 41
in excess of 150,000 CO2-free kilometres drivenElectric driving receives a lot of attention. At Van Ameyde Waarderingen too, an increasingnumber of staff opted for a hybrid or electric car last year. 42

in excess of 1,500 metres of egg conveyer belts valuedLast year we visited various factories to value the equipment, plant and machinery andbuildings. Internal transport is an important part of every manufacturing company. Astriking feature was the egg conveyer belt as part of a factory for various egg products. 45
57 swimming pool slides valuedWe valued various objects in the catering and recreational sector last year. As well asswimming pools, we valued tennis courts, golf courses, soccer clubs and camp sites. 46
