ISSUE 1, 2021 WHAT WILL 2022 LOOK LIKE FOR THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY? The Art of Why GOALS Working from Home aren’t enough THE TOP THINGS 3I FOCUS ON REAL ESTATE RESULTS NETWORK DOMINATES BYRON BAY
HELLO&WELCOME Well….. what a year….. actually... the last 18 months… We are almost ¾ through this year and for many of you the balancing act of work, home and family and let’s throw in a few lockdowns, you have done exceptionally well and I’m extremely proud of all of you. With the pace of the industry and market conditions and the different challenges that have been thrown at you you have done amazingly well. Working on and off from home and dealing with a new way of doing business many of you have just got on and done it. I’m hearing some amazing results throughout the Network. So a HUGE heart felt “Well Done” to you all. As the property market tightens and supposedly a slight flatten off in pricing the next quarter should be an interesting one. I believe you will need more skill, be hungrier than ever before and use social media and technology to widen your reach and be an absolute follow up legend. Leave no rock unturned. The key in a tightening market is to stand out, nurture your current clients and connect with past clients. Really get to know what your clients and potential clients are looking for - get to know them better, uncover and connect with to understand their needs and goals. In this issue you will see some great articles, inspirational stories and some good reading. Yours in Results. Another highlight of the event was hearing from two of our great leaders in the Network, Sunil Kumar from Reliance Real Estate and Luke McPhee from Kollosche. These are two very successful businesses with very different approaches to recruitment and onboarding. At Reliance, Sunil and the team focus on people new to the industry. Their onboarding program involves two layers of leadership, one from Sunil and the management team and the other from their specific office manager. The seven-week program covers everything from the company purpose and mission, market knowledge, prospecting, listing presentations, buyer and seller management, how to use RP Data, Agent Box and other software, nurturing your pipeline, managing each phase of campaigns, compliance and more. Every trainee has intense training on their listing presentation, and these are recorded and assessed until the agent is ready to go out and present to clients. At Kollosche, Luke and the team have a totally different approach and only bring on agents that are already exceptional and earning a minimum of 550k. 9
