LOGGING IN 1. After you are enrolled, you will receive the following notification in your email: a. URL Link: http://www.portsworldacademy.org/moodle/index.php i. Username: ii. Password: b. Click on the URL link and you will be taken to the page as seen below: [IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ACCESS THE HYPERLINK OR ACCESS TO YOUR USERNAME & PASSWORD IS DENIED, CONTACT IMMEDIATELY: Jairaj Durairaj at [email protected] OR Durairaj at [email protected] ] c. Type in your Username and Password which was sent to you in the notification and this will lead you to your Dashboard which should look like this: Click on the course you are enrolled for.

d. Once you click on the course you are registered for, you will be taken to the page as seen below: Take note of these six tiles. 2. You are ready to commence the Professional Certificate in Logistics & Supply Chain Management programme. Pre-Test Course Assessment 1. Take note of the six tiles on the Dashboard. To commence the programme, you are required to submit to the Pre-Test Course Assessment. Now, click on the 1st tile & will see the page as see below: 2. You are required to complete the Pre-Test Course Assessment. You are allowed 3 attempts within 30 minutes to complete the test. Your highest score will be taken as final score. After you are done, you will enter Submit. You are ready to begin the course.

Course Contents 1. You will now click on the 2nd tile FL101 Structure of the Freight Logistics Industry. 2. You will note that the drop-down menu will display the following: a. FL101 Course Notes, b. FL101 Audio Learning c. FL101 Quiz d. FL101 Zoom Lecture Link (which you may use later when you are notified of the Webinar). When you click to open the FL101 Course Notes, you see the page as seen below: Read the course notes at your own pace. You may stop any time you like and return to the course notes to complete it. [Always use the same ULR link and Username and Password at any time you wish to re-enter]

3. Once you have completed reading the Course Notes, proceed to click open the FL101 Audio Learning as seen below: The Audio Learning is interactive; you may place your browser over certain terms for further explanation. Try it! 4. AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED FL101 Audio Leaning you may proceed and attempt the FL101 Quiz as seen on below. Press Enter to start the Quiz Begin to answer the questions once the quiz has started. Be sure to keep an eye on the timer as indicated in the red box on the right-hand side of the screen. Your score from Quiz will be included in your grades, so please complete the quizzes.

Learning Activities 1. You may now proceed to the 5th tile: Learning Activities. Click on the tile and the page will appear as below: You may click on each of the activity provided. This is interactive learning, so make use of the opportunity to participate in many activities as possible to improve your learning outcomes. Read the instructions carefully to engage in the interactive learning activities. After you have completed each of the learning activity make sure you click the blue check button to submit. Take note, when you click on the “Check” button will show you how many right answers you have scored for the activity. If you don’t get all right, you can click retry to try the activity again. If you get all of it right, the meter will show a star. You could retry as many times as you want till you get the star. Some of the learning activities are “drag and drop” or “matching” and also inter-active video activity where while watching the video there will be a pause at which point there you will be prompted with a question. See examples below. You may always click on “Check” to see if your answer is right and as with other Learning Activities, you can retry as many times as you want till you get the star for your answer.

Resources 1. You can now move on to the 6th tile: Resources. Click on the tile and you see the page as seen below: This section contains several files: links to You Tube, White Paper, Research Papers, Industry Reports, Industry Masterplan, etc. Open any of the files which interest you and read up the materials or watch the videos to help widen your knowledge. 2. You have now completed FL101 Module 3. Be sure to check your email before your webinar date as stated in the timetable to attend the Webinar with the date/time provided. ONLINE FACE-TO-FACE WEBINAR LECTURES Hardware Requirement Device (Handphone, laptop, tablet with mic and camera) Software Requirement Downloading the Zoom app for your device and signing up for an account: For Mobile, see following link for a guide: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en- us/articles/200942759-Getting-Started-with-Android For PC or laptop users, see the following guide: Click on this link to download Zoom (https://zoom.us/support/download) Once Zoom is downloaded, launch the application in your computer/laptop and you will see this screen.

Click either “Sign up Free”, or if you have a Google or Facebook account you can use the Single Sign-on (SSO) buttons there as well. If you have clicked “Sign up Free”, you will need to fill up your information there to create your profile. Once that is done you will be logged in with your profile in the application. Check your email for the Zoom link that we will send you. Once you click the link, it will open the Zoom App in your device. If you’re using mobile, it may ask you to allow access to YOUR microphone and you will need to allow it. Once you’ve done that, be patient as you will be in a “Waiting Room” till your host enables your entry into the online Zoom Meeting. Remember to check your email before the lecture days for the link to enter the Zoom Meeting. INSTRUCTION & GUIDELINES FOR THE ONLINE LECTURE ATTENDANCE • Show up on time. Please join the virtual classroom 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to check your audio settings. Look for bright spot or well light as possible. • Dress presentably. Wear proper attire and mind your body language. Remember this is still a classroom, albeit, a Virtual Classroom. • Profile display: Display your formal name. • Close your email and any other open windows, programs or apps on your device. • Make sure to keep your microphone on mute when you are not talking to minimize the amount of background noise. You may turn off your webcam if requested by presenter. • Make sure to follow the same meeting etiquette that you would follow in a normal class session, meeting or discussion. • If you are not using any virtual background, make sure you are comfortable and also there is no interference or disturbance on the background. • Use any virtual background you wish BUT make sure it is not offensive or distracting to any one and likely to hurt the sensitivity of anyone. • Ask questions related to the subject area. Wait your turn or do so when invited. Ask questions concisely and speak up. You may write down your questions in the Chat Box. • Don’t leave the webinar without informing the presenter/host. (You can use the Chat Box. • We are at the mercy of the technology; be prepared for any difficulties such as disconnection, unstable internet connection, low battery on your device, powerblackout, etc NOTE: YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE WEBINAR IS COMPULSORY. GRADING WILL BE AFFECTED IF YOU FAIL TO ATTEND THE WEBINAR 4. You have now fully completed FL101 Module and you can move on to next Module FL102 Freight Logistics & Its Contributions to the Economy. You will have to repeat the same steps/process as you used for FL101. 5. Once you have completed FL102 you will move on to FL103. 6. After you have completed all three Modules, namely FL101, FL102 and FL103, submitted to the quizzes and have attended the Webinars, you will be required to attempt the Online Final Assessment. TIME-LOCKED ONLINE ASSESSMENT 7. You will be notified on your email the date for the Time-locked Online Assessment. 8. To attempt this Assessment, you will open the link to the Google sheet and attempt the Multiple Choice Questions. 9. The Assessment will open at 7am and will lock at 9pm the same day. So you can attempt the

assessment any time between 7am and 9pm BUT once you have open to attempt the Assessment, you have 45 minutes to complete the assessment. 10. Remember, you CANNOT stop half way or exit and re-enter. So, you have to make sure you have about 30-45minutes to complete the assessment at one go. You can choose the time most convenient to you. For example, if you start at 7am you must complete it by 7.45am, or if you start at 1pm you have to complete it by 1.45pm. Choose your time between 7am and 9pm. 11. If for some reason (medical/emergency) you cannot attempt the Final Assessment, please notify your Programme Coordinator at least 24 hours in advance. If you miss or forget to attempt the online Assessment, you will be graded as ABSENT and treated as FAILED. REMEMBER ALWAYS TO READ AND RE-READ INSTRUCTIONS. NEED HELP?
