WELCOME TO MSC SMARTEDTECH Think and build #smart, #tech and #educational systems through a co-creative and participative approach INTRODUCTION TO THE MSC SMARTEDTECH PROGRAM SmartEdTech is the idea of reuniting two communities PROF; that don't exchange together. From one side, they are MARGARIDA learning science, computer science and Edtech, which is ROMERO the technology side. From the other side, they are learning Program's Co-director science, instuctors and teachers, instructional designers; and others who work in the field of education. We help them engage in demystifying technology and having a deeper approach in these technologies in order to integrate them in a wise and critical way in their practices. INTENSIVE Two intensive WEEK study periods per year in Nice There are two intensive study periods per year in Nice, one week each in October and April. At least one of those two weeks is mandatory to attend. The intensives weeks are a great way to connect with the rest of the SmartEdTech community, share with the other students and the teachers in person, work on hands-on activities in teams, discover new EdTech tools, visit the university and of course enjoy the city of Nice! WEEKLY SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE MEETINGS The synchronous online meeting every week , on Tuesday at 5pm (Paris time), from September to April. These sessions, delivered by either SmartEdTech faculty or external experts, aim to bring an overview of each course which students then work on autonomously. The teachers will provide guidelines and further explanation of course content and to approach and achieve the different assignments.
