Have you ever seen an image online and thought Wow, I wish I could use that image on my website? Unfortunately, that image most likely has been saved as a .png, .jpeg, or another format that isn’t compatible with websites. Luckily, there’s an easy way to convert raster images into vector ones in Photoshop that can open the door to all sorts of possibilities! In this article, we’ll show you how to convert vector to raster in Photoshop so you can get your hands on all sorts of images! Hello sir, if you need any vector conversion service just check CLIPPINGNEXT. Raster to vector company is finally helping for better performance for your ecommerce company just check out now. Step 1 - Create a New Document Begin by creating a new document in Photoshop. You can make it any size you like, but I would recommend making it similar to your original image size. For example, if you have an image that is 1000 x 1000 pixels, then try setting your new document size to be around 1000 x 1000 pixels as well. If your image is bigger than that then I would set my document larger than that so I can crop it down later. Step 2 - Fill with Black

Before you convert your raster image into a vector, you need to add some details by filling it with black. Although you can use any color that blends well with your image, it’s good practice to match all elements of your design (including background) so stick with black. Select Edit > Fill or press Shift + F5. For fill type choose Black (if there is a checkmark next to it) and then click OK. Step 3 - Add the Filter To convert your image into a vector, go to Filter -> Distort -> Ripple. The higher you adjust your Ripple scale, or size, of your effect, the more dramatic of an effect you will achieve. The ripple option is found under Filter > Distort > Ripple. If you want to check out what it will look like before you commit, click Preview. Click OK once you are happy with your changes. Step 4 - Duplicate Layers Before you start drawing over your image, duplicate each layer of your raster file by pressing Ctrl+J on Windows or Cmd+J on Mac. This will save you from hours of work if you decide to go back later and change something about your vector work. By keeping each layer separate, even if you mess up, you’ll have an easier time editing it. Duplicate both layers at least three times so that way you’ll have multiple backups in case something goes wrong. Step 5 - Cut Out Background In one quick and easy move, you can cut out your image’s background. Press CTRL + X (or CMD + X on Mac) then go to Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal All. Your image will appear over any colors or images beneath it, but it’ll be isolated from its background. In other words, your mask will hide everything except for your subject, which we now have as vector artwork! Now you can resize your vector at will with no loss of quality. Step 6 - Add Text if Necessary Most of your pictures don’t need text, but there are times when you think it is needed. Feel free to add it! Keep in mind that a lot of people out there write for search engines. While well-written content does have an impact on reader engagement, most of them will probably not read your work fully. You should use keywords judiciously and make sure that they fit naturally into your sentences.
