SYMPHONY, BARNSLEY As part of their rationalisation strategy, Symphony took the decision to consolidate their multiple sites on to a single site in Barnsley. Phase 1 was a 500,000ft² high-bay warehouse (12m to haunch) with 25,000ft² of associated offices over 3 floors. GARNETT NETHERWOOD ARCHITECTS 5

CAPITOL PARK, LEEDS Garnett Netherwood was appointed in 2000 to masterplan a major mixed use development on a 40 acre site immediately adjacent to the M62 motorway known as Capitol Park West. Over the last two decades, the practice has designed many of the buildings on the masterplan including an 80,000ft² medical device manufacturing building for Depuy and a 120,000ft² warehouse for Carcraft. DAKIN FLATHERS, FEATHERSTONE Dakin Flathers Ltd is one of the largest bandsaw and bandknife blade manufacurers in Europe based at the Green Lane Industrial Estate near Featherstone, West Yorkshire. Garnett Netherwood Architects were appointed to design the new extension. The works include a new two storey office pod extension providing an additional 7,000ft² of space and in addition the existing warehouse and manufacturing floor space has been extended by over 13,000ft². The design challenge was to provide a modern new extension that compliments the existing structure which was addressed by using similar cladding materials and building forms providing a seamless link between the old and new areas of the development. HARDMAN ISHERWOOD, EUROPORT Hardman Isherwood required a new 260,000ft² high- bay warehouse distribution centre at Wakefield Europort.
