SILCOATES SCHOOL, WAKEFIELD - SPORTS PITCHES Through the masterplanning exercise, an area was found for a new hockey pitch and MUGA. Another area of underused land was allocated for sale as housing with the proceeds funding the new sports facilities. Garnett Netherwood worked closely with the school, planning consultants, Sport England and Wakefield council to obtain planning permission for both the housing scheme and sports pitches.
