1 NORTH BANK for CEG, SHEFFIELD Garnett Netherwood were appointed by CEG to refurbish the ground floor and cores of No.1 Northbank, a 10 year old building in Sheffield. The revised and refurbished ground floor includes new studio space, a new zoned lounge with collaboration area, secure cycle store, showers and changing rooms together with gym. The works also extend to the reception area and atrium stairs, lobbies and toilets. The project started on site in October 2018 and is due to complete in March 2019 with new tenants lined up for 90% of the refurbished building already. GARNETT NETHERWOOD ARCHITECTS 13

MARCO’S NEW YORK ITALIAN, LEEDS Working with White and Black Hospitality, Marco’s New York Italian restaurant in the Arena Quarter was an exciting design challenge, complicated by the requirement for the restaurant space to be used by the adjacent hotel for breakfast.
