Howie the Hammerhead and his Journey Down the Coast of Florida Written and created by : Josh Leeds and Isaac Ward

As Howie swam along the beach, he came across many old fishing nets with sharks, turtles, and dolphins tangled in the mess. This brought tears to his eyes. “How could anyone ever let this happen?” asked Howie.

One of Howie’s favorite spots to hang out was impossible to get to because of a large dam that had been put in a few months before. He had no way to visit his friend, a stingray, because he was trapped on the other side

Since all of the fishermen were busy catching fish, there was no food left for Howie. He realized he was just going to have to wait till the next day to eat something.

Moving up towards the mangroves, Howie began to realize most of them were cut down and dying. He was so confused. He then saw a tractor cutting them down. They must have been building houses

Howie had no choice but to leave Florida and swim across to the Bahamas where he could live a better life with less distractions.
