We are holding open days for prospective parents on: Thursday 1st November 2pm Tuesday 4th December 10am Wednesday 9th January 2pm.
As you will be aware from the news and from previous newsletters school budgets have been cut and we are al- ways looking at different ways to protect the rich and varied curriculum our pupils have become accustomed to.One very easy way of raising money for West Hill is through Easyfundraising. So far we have raised £142 with only 22 supporters so imagine how much we could raise if every parent signed up! There are over 3,000 shops and sites who make a donation every time you shop, including Amazon, John Lewis, Book- ing.com, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…1. Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/westhillprimwand/ and join for free. It only takes a few sec- onds!2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to West Hill for no extra cost whatsoever! There are no catches or hidden charges and we will be really grateful for your donations which will help fund additional resources for your children’s learning. Thank you for your support. Our year 6 pupils had an amazing time at PGL Windmill Hill at the beginning of October. They canoed, built rafts, zip-wired, played aeroball, climbed Jacob’s Ladder, problem solved and did a sensory trail, all in three days . All the photos are in the gallery section of our website. It was so successful that we are planning the same trip for our current Year 5 pupils in October 2019. There will be a meeting for parents on Wednesday 16th January at 9am.
