Summer , Summer Is already here, Drink nimbu pani in cool summer wear, time to splash in water, help plants to grow, sing, dance party with family all day through. Summer brings us watermelon treats, ice cream drips and mangoes sweet. Summer is staying home, being happy and mellow, with our loved ones safe and secure. HAPPY SUMMERS

Day 1 : Frozen Paintsicles Frozen Colourful Paint Cubes Let’s make some frozen colourful paint cubes for creative fun. Fill an ice cube tray with coloured water. Leave the ice cream stick inside the tray and freeze overnight. Enjoy painting with your frozen colourful paint cubes next morning.

Day : 2 Nutella and Banana Sushi MOM & ME TIME Place a slice of bread on a chopping board. With the help of a rolling pin, flatten the bread as much as you can. Spread a teaspoon full of nutella on the bread. Now place slices of banana on it and roll it up tight. Then cut into bite sized pieces. You Nutella and Banana sushi is ready!!

Day 4 : Family Tree Family Time Draw a tree with as many branches as your family members. Now collect passport size photographs of your family members and put them on the branches of the tree.

Day : 5 Jumping Jacks Time to Exercise Enjoy exercising, follow the steps and stay fit and healthy. Link

Day 6 : Balancing Ball Fun Time Let’s try walking with a partner while balancing a ball on our waists.

Day 7 : Sock Puppet Create your own Sock Puppet Take an old sock , cut 2 circles or take googly eyes and paste on the sock. Take a ribbon or any coloured strip of paper. Paste on the sock to make the snake’s tongue. Put your hand in it and there you have your snake !

Day : 8 Make Your Own Bed Let’s all be Proactive Make our own bed every morning, fold your sheet and put everything in it’s place.

Day 9 : Paper Caterpillar Toy DIY Racing Caterpillar Fold the paper like an accordion. Cut out strips and round out the top and bottom to create your little caterpillar’s body. Draw eyes and smiley face. Now your little caterpillar is ready to race . Set it down on the floor or table and blow through paper straw to make the little critters crawl. Link

Day 10 : Watering Plants Recycle Waste Water Collect the waste RO water with the help of your parents and use it to water the plants daily.

Day 11 : Potato Masher Ice Cream Cone Beat the Heat Dip potato masher into brown paint and stamp it on a yellow sheet of paper to make waffle marks for the cone. Once it dries , use scissor to cut a triangle for the ice cream cone. Paste the ice cream cone on a sheet of paper. Now choose coloured paints for ice cream scoops and stamp it 3 times on a sheet of paper.

Day 12 : Let’s Create Some Music Make your own musical instrument Take old plastic bottles and put some lentils, rajma, rice or semolina in each. Shake the bottles and listen to the music. Each bottle will make a different sound.

Day 13 : Rolling Pin Art Time to Rock and Roll Take a rolling pin and paste bubble wrap / thread /drawstring around it. Dip it in paint and roll it on a plain sheet to make different textures.

Day : 14 Spa Time Time to Relax Allow your children to give parents or grandparents a gentle foot message. Hand them some cream or lotion and watch those loving little hands take your stress away!!

Day 15 : Transferring Water Water Play Let all your family members stand in a row with empty mugs, in an open area. Fill only the first mug with water and without turning around try transferring the water to the next person in the row. Watch Out ! Don’t let any water spill.

Day 16 : Texture Tray Sense of Touch Let’s go for a Treasure Hunt around the house and find something that is: Rough , Smooth , Soft , Hard , Bumpy , Furry Put them on a tray and make each member of your family feel them.

Day : 17 Make Your Potrait Splish, Splash, Splatter ,Crazy Hair Painting Let’s make our portrait by splashing some paints. Now we can have fun by using straw or spray bottle to make the hair.

Day 18 : Tracing Patterns Pre-Writing Skills On half an A4 sheet, mummy papa can draw water creatures on one side and their friends right across on the other side. Let's show them the path across with dots or dashes.

Day : 20 Dragon Craft Little Hands at Work Paint an empty kitchen or toilet paper roll green. Stick 2 googly eyes at one end and some coloured paper strips at the other. Now watch your little ones blow into the end of the tube as shown in the picture to make it look like flames are coming out of the dragon’s mouth. Link
