Death is something we are all aware of, and we all know it will happen to us at some point. Passing sends a shiver down our spines and fills us with dread for many of us, while for others, it brings quality and a sense of accomplishment. Fortunately or unfortunately, we are all doomed to die.

Death is a source of yearning for some, a source of solace for others, and the end of all things for all. Death is nothing more than the act of moving from one chamber to the next.

g rd ieeaft ho f - Riza Alberca Have you wondered why do everything has an end? Why do people die and what is death? Are you scared of death? Why do people waste money on funerals? Is there’s a life after death? Do you believe in heaven? What does it look like and why do people believe in such fairytales? There is a well-known saying “All good things must come to an end” Nothing lasts forever, all things and situations are temporary, or perhaps even happiness is just fleeting. It may be used to express regret when something that brings you happiness comes to an end. People die not because of they want to. Instead people die because they were born to die. Death is the giving up of the spirit. Without the spirit, the body is dead (Jas 2.26). I, you, all of us, cannot pretend that we are without fear. It may come to our senses that how will other people feel when we die? How will they react when you are no longer breathing inside the coffin? The curiosity triggers now, but it’s unanswerable unless you are at your time of death. Death is foreseeable, some people look at it as a negative and black, but death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we are still alive. I also have a question that, do death would be painful? Will my death be brutal or if it will only happen when I am asleep? There are some questions where nobody can answer unless it’s me who will discover for myself. 3

I can share how I feel towards my partner seeing him dying. I feel like I am going to die too, the feeling of seeing him in his worse, deeply breathing, inhaling like he can’t exhale back. His actions are unexplainable. The way he says “Thank you for everything” says and means a lot of how he felt his death and his end. He says weird things that he sees himself in his death. “I am in a black box but the box is broken because I am too big.” “I see a lot of people coming in and out in our house and I don’t know any of them”. Every detail he has, had come true. Scared, anger, regret and, revenge fills in my heart. Seeing his last breath made me madly crazy, pumping his heart expecting he will wake up. Unacceptable, he leaves, he is dead and time for him to get buried. Why do people waste money on funerals? Funerals may be used purely to prevent the odor of decay, but more often than not to give family members closure and prevent them from witnessing the decomposition of their loved ones. We show our love even at the end by keeping our loved ones buried properly. Many people believe that after we die, we have a second life. Some believe that we will be judged by our deeds in this world when we will die. Whether we go to the Heaven depends on how many good deeds we did when we were alive. Some of our ancestors foretold us that Heaven is where you feel the fulfilment and feeling of true unending happiness. We shouldn’t be scared of death. Instead, we should get ready for this time to come. Death is unpredictable that’s why we should live our life to the highest peak. It is very painful to see the person you love laying on bed dying. They may be suffering, groaning in pain, something which you can’t help with. Sometimes you may think, and wish to share their sufferings. A person can feel all over the senses if it will be his/her time. Don’t get too attached to human things because everything is temporary. Don’t be greedy, and don’t put too much love in things you cannot even take with you when you die. Love your soul by feeding good things when interacting with people. Let go of your worries, anger and hatred. Don’t be shallow. Instead, value a beautiful soul, and beauty from the inside. While you are still alive, give worth to people who are left. Provide them with things you have had worked for. Provide a good life for those people who will keep you at the end of your breath. Remember doing well today will be the best preparation for tomorrow. Death is unpredictable so be prepared and do not be scared. 4
