In total, the time allocated for the writing section of the PTE depends on the number of questions you receive, for example, if you get 2 Summarize Written Text questions and 1 Write Essay, then you will have 40 minutes to finish the writing section. Therefore, you should concentrate on summarizing the given passage into one complex sentence. The expectation for the Summarize Written Text task is to create one sentence with a compound structure and complexity, meaning one or more major clauses and one or more supporting clauses.
