Summarize Written Text In the PTE Writing section, you're immediately given the task of summarizing a written text after finishing the Speaking section. Despite the fact that PTE Speaking and PTE Writing are combined into one section, the two are scored separately; therefore, when you see the Summarize Written Text task, it will show you a reading text that you must summarize into a single sentence between 5 and 75 words. For the reading section, the length of the text depends on how many questions you get on the PTE test, for example, if you get two summarizing questions and one writing essay, you will have 40 minutes to complete the writing section. For this task, you should focus on presenting the given passage as a single complex sentence. In order to complete the Summarize Written Text task, you will have to craft a single sentence that describes a compound structure and is complex, which means that it includes a main clause and at least one supporting clause. You first need to be a good reader, which means that you must be able to read a passage quickly and understand what it says. If you lack reading skills, then you must first focus on improving them. The next Summarize Written Text Tips pertains to making good notes from your reading, which means that you will focus on noting down between 6 and 8 key words or phrases. In addition to the keywords, you will also want to note down the main idea or theme of the passage. Normally, we encourage participants to follow their own style of writing, but if you are uncertain about your command of the English language, you may also choose one of our Templates. There are two types of Summarize Written Text Template we offer, depending on your skill level in English. The first Summarize Written Text Template is designed for people who need 40 to 60 points, and is much simpler and does not require perfect English skills, whereas the second is designed for people who need 60 to 80 points and does require moderate English skills. For students who have good English language skills, we recommend that they write their own sentence based on the strategy we suggest, because it will help them to maximize their writing scores. Whatever approach you choose, you will need to have your answers reviewed by a PTE expert in order to maximize your writing scores. There are many Summarize Written Text practice questions at Edutrainex and not only that, but you get detailed feedback and evaluation for each of your responses. Our PTE experts will provide a breakdown of what you need to improve and how to make the improvements. The Summarize Written Text is scored in four areas: content, form, grammar, and vocabulary. Upon practicing and seeing the feedback, you will know where you are lacking and where you are strong, therefore improving you overall. The Summarize Written Text Practice questions are aimed at the same level of difficulty as the actual test, and are very close to how questions are asked on the PTE test. The main idea for the Summarize Written Text Examples on the Edutrainex PTE learning platform is to help you understand why the model answer was an ideal answer, so you can try that particular question in the best possible way. After you have attempted the Summarize Written Text Examples, you will find a model answer showing how the best answer should have been written, which is the main idea for the Summarize Written Text Examples. The sample answers provide a good summary of the content and have good usage of appropriate vocabulary (between five and 75 words). Test takers need to gradually improve and then re-practice the new questions, so that with time the overall approach and quality of answers improves. The PTE experts will also provide you with one on one support if you are struggling with the Summarize Written Text task, and you will be given personal attention on how to improve it. Nevertheless, only the tutors' support will not improve you, you must also put a lot of effort into it, so you should be prepared to dedicate a decent amount of time.
