The “Central Agency for Remedying Illegal Residents Status” is concerned withremedying this issue, which is considered as one of the most important challenges that ourcountry is confronting.Since the Amiri decree was issued in October 2010 of the context of establishing the CentralAgency, a comprehensive and integrated plan was set covering all aspects of this issue, relyingon accurate analysis for its content and deep perception for all aspects related to this issuewith its several and variable ramifications. These facilitiesare concerned with their rights of free education and medication, besides regulating officialdocuments issuing, as well as facilitating employment and issuing driving licenses. The Central Agency’s perceive is based on a group of rules; the most distinct rule is sortingthe illegal residents into categories, classified according to their legist status. Consequently, dealing with each individual is in compliance with the category he belongs to.The differentiation of the services provided is based on the existing information in each case’sfile. Therefore, some categories obtain additional privileges and exemptions from someprocedures and decisions taken, such as sons of Kuwaiti citizens, wives of Kuwaiti citizens, military personnel who participated in wars, captives’ families, and those who were co-existedin Kuwait long time ago.
