All aspects of landscaping
Budget-friendly landscape tipsWe put a lot of thought into the interiors of our homes, right? We know whatwe want, and what will go where exactly. But do we give enough thought to theexterior? Well, let me be precise – to your garden, backyard, front yard?Probably not – because we are so busy and occupied with the interiors, that thefact that this too is a part of the home, entirely slips off your mind. But that'sokay because we have come up with a few tips that will completely change thelook of your \"landscapes\". If you already have done it up well, change is alwayswelcome! Have a look.
Colourful Metal trunk seats Because chairs are boring! You can get these old metal trunks from any scrap shop at a dime. And then you will have to put in a bit of effort. Coat these trunks with primer and then paint it with different colours! Or you can even fix up a colour scheme – whatever works well for you!
Make sure you get these trunks in different sizes. It will give a casual andapproachable look to your garden. They make an impressive seatingarrangement. And you never run out of space! There's ample for everyone whoattended your party!
Wooden box potsGot wooden boxes lying around in yourhome? Don't scrap them! These woodenboxes (better if they are of differentsizes) can be painted according to thelook you want and hoisted up against thewall or even merely kept on the floor.
And plant whatever you want in these boxes. Great idea to grow the herbs thatyou need in your kitchen. Also, bright flowers in these boxes look beautiful!Out-of-the-box, huh?
Add a dash of lights The best part is, you needn't even buy these! Watch some videos on DIY paper mache or string lamps, and you're set! Hang them to your porch and other places in your garden to bring in a cosy and soft look. Also, who doesn't like a festive look all around the year? Well, these lights will create that magic for you!
Recycle furnitureIf you want to create something that standsapart and gives an appealing look, you canutilise unused or broken furniture that's lyingidle in your home. Think of a theme, and justpick a few chairs, a coffee table and throw insome pretty cushions! You could even paintthe furniture according to your theme to givean even better look! Even some used benchesplaced around are a great idea.
Use fillers
Instead of spending a bomb on lawns (which need a lot of maintenance, too),you could use fillers such as crushed stones to create stunning patterns in youryard. Formulate a design in your mind and fix accordingly, decide the ratio oflawn to fillers. You could even opt for stepping stones or stone slabs forpathways- they give a classy look and work as great fillers. You don't need tohire a professional to get these things done – a little creativity and sense ofdesign are more than enough for a beautiful outcome!
Tyre hangingsThese look chic! Get some old tyres andpaint them. Add a little soil to the insidesand plant floral creepers that don't need alot of soil to cling on grow. When thiscreeper starts spilling out of the tyre, it's areal treat to the eye! You could colourcoordinate the tyres and flowers or even optfor different colours which go well together.
Thank You!
