Bier Markt was born in downtown Toronto in 2001with Bier Markt . Our focus was simple: Pour, Pair & Share. Pour the best selection of international and craft biers and pair them with from-scratch food. Our Esplanade location was renovated and re-opened in the summer of 2017. When we reopened, we partnered with renown brewer Goose Island from Chicago. At our Esplanade location you will find Bier Markt and a Goose Island Brewhouse which we operate. The Esplanade location also has a self-serve ‘Bottle Shop’ where Guests can visit the bottle shop, speak to a Bier Expert and take a bottle back to their table.



Our first move to bringing our unique bier concept to an upscale shopping centre just outside of the Toronto downtown core – at the Shops of .



Super rich history and an institution in Montreal, we gladly took over the old ‘Que de Chavel Steakhouse’ building when they moved. Bier Markt has three floors. The third floor’s architecture, formally a cigar lounge, was left in tact and is now used as an exclusive VIP dining space for private events.



Bier Markt is located on the popular ‘Sparks Street’, one of Ottawa’s only pedestrian streets and located directly across from Parliament Hill. It has a best-in-class patio that serves Ottawa, it’s politicians and it’s tourists in the downtown core all year long.



For the first time ever, we have partnered with Mill Street at the Bier Markt Newfoundland. This Bier Markt features an onsite brewery, retail location and brewpub. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention it’s incredible location on the harbour.





May we introduce you to Manneken-Pis is a landmark small bronze sculpture in Brussels, depicting a naked boy peeing into a fountain’s basin. It remains the emblem of the of the City of Brussels. We’re a bit rebellious too. Find a Manneken-Pis replica and you will likely find a Bier Markt as we have one at each of our locations.
