From Your Clergy High Holy Days 5782: Navigating our New Normal By rabbi Matthew D. Gewirtz now what? All we wanted to do was transform the Holy Days, which come at us so early to the other side. We worked so arduously this year, that we have barely gotten the individually and collectively to get here. sunscreen off us yet, are the perfect balm to Many of us are adjusting, but some of us feel help us make our way back into the new normal out of sorts. i have heard it from every part of our world. these days remind us first to of the generational spectrum. So many give ourselves a break. our expectations of of our children had a hard time at first ourselves should be high when it comes to adjusting to sleep away camp. i’m not only the quality of our lives, but this season is speaking of kids starting for the very first here to remind us to not be so judgmental time, but some of our kids who had been at camp for of ourselves otherwise. our God is one Who wants us to years before the Pandemic. it has not just been our children. be patient with ourselves, compassionate of our hearts, it has been us also. Commuting daily, riding elevators, loving of our spirits. We can’t go through an elongated old expectations of being in the office daily, travel; it period of crisis and expect ourselves to just be fine. i think hasn’t been as easy a transition as we anticipated.
