LETTER FROM THE EDITOR SHOWROOM CHICK Years ago, I traveled to Las Vegas for work. I was not looking forward to this trip, and happened to be traveling during spring break. My flight was filled with frat boys, and few rows up from me….Fabio. Was I flying first class? No. Not only were Fabio and I flying coach, but we were flying Southwest. Anyone who has flown into Vegas has experienced the turbulence, and notoriously bumpy landings. During this flight the pilot made the announcement that it would be ‘especially’ turbulent on our descent. The frat boys started to party harder. They were pumped. What started as a little rumble progressed to violent shaking. If the drinks hadn't been picked up already, every passenger would have been covered in frat boy beer. At one point, we hit a pocket so extreme, the seatbelt bruised my hips. I'm gripping the armrest, cursing my job, when the frat boy seated next to me leans over and slurs, “I wonder what Fabio is thinking right now.” He then yells, \"Hey, Fabio! Ya good?\" To which Fabio gave a thumbs up and the frat boys cheered. It might have been the most random situation I've ever experienced, but I was so grateful for the levity. Thank you, Sigma Phi Epsilon boy and Fabio, for distracting me from what I thought was imminent death. I was dreading this particular work trip, I had hit a creative block and was sure the project was going to be a hot mess. But once I got off the plane I hit the ground running with an energy and motivation that my colleagues may have called \"a little bit psycho\". I think sometimes we might need a little turbulence to shake things up a bit. In this edition of Glazed, we're doing that with new products and bold colors! Hope to see you all soon! Wow Sweet Bars Produced in Spain, the Wow Aquarelle offerings from Wow continue Coming Soon! to impress me every time they roll something new out. You should see my excitement level every time I hear our rep is coming in. It's like a kid waiting for Santa Claus. (I hope I keep my cool. If not, sorry Ivan!) Not only are their products fun, but since their factory is located in the Mediterranean (which enjoys hours of sunshine - must be rough) they are able to utilize solar energy. So, they produce fun tile, live in a warm climate, and understand the need for renewable energy. It's almost like the guy who's a little too perfect, and you keep searching for a flaw (my deal breaker was always chewing with their mouth full). Try as I might, I've found no flaws in Wow.
