What a sad new! 6TH FEBRUARY,UNFORGETABLE DAY All people in Turkey woke up with a bad new.On 6th February,at 04.17 ,a Mw 7.8 earthquake stroke southern and central Turkey that included Hatay ,Kahramanmaraş,Gaziantep,Şanlıu rfa,Malatya,Adıyaman,Adana,Diyar bakır,Kilis,Osmaniye.Nearly 50.000 million people died and a lot of people left homeless.A lot of aids were sent from many cities of Turkey and many countries. THE TEACHERS OF ŞEHİT EROL OLÇOK ANATOLIAN IMAM HATIP HIGH SCHOOL WORKED WITH GREAT DEVOTION After the disaster,our school started to collec t a lot of help including clothes,food ,hygiene materials.Our School Principal and our dear teachers prepared mobile kitchen and went to Adıyaman.They cooked for homeless people who struggled with difficulty ''Peace at home,peace on earth.''

''To see me does not necessarily mean to see my face.To understand my thoughts is to have seen me.'' SPELLING BEE COMPETITION Our English Teacher Figen Gülsoy organized the spelling bee competition. In this competition Our students who study at 5th ,6th and 7 th grades attended it. They tried to spell the words with great enthusiasm. OUR POETRY RECITAL Our Turkish Language and Literature Teacher,Fatma Alımlı organized the poetry recital.Our students who study at our high school read a lot of poems and sang some folk songs willingly.We enjoyed very much while listening to them. Our Quiz Show We aim to raise awareness about prayer which is the meaning of spiritual exaltation and to support the development of our students to become good people with The General Directorate of Religious Education.To achieve our aims,The Güldeste magazines 'Vakti Kuşanmak' are published on our website. Our teachers Elif Yüksel and Nurcan Yıldırım organized the quiz show containing the information in these magazines. ALL MY HOPE IS IN THE YOUTH. We celebrated Youth and Sports Day with great enthusiasm with gorgeous activities prepared by especially our high school teachers and students.We were proud of our students. ''Educate the youth.Give them the positive ideas of lore and science.You will meet the brightness of the future with them'' SCIENCE FESTIVAL OF RELIGIOUS SCHOOL Our teacher Kevser İşliel and our students Betül Muhammed,Hilal Çetik,Fatma Nur Ceylin Altay,Melis Ceren Şahin from 9-A attended with their project '' The world of Elements and also Umut Avcı and Hüseyin Emre Kösem presented their project '' Gushing Colours'' at the Traditional Science Festival organized by General Directorate of Religion Education in İzmir. THE ENTHUSIASM OF CHILDREN'S DAY Children's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm with the teachers and students of our school.There were a lot of activities like poems,songs,dance shows,an oratorio and folk dances in this perfect day.Our students felt themselves happy .We thank our secondary school teachers and students for this wonderful celebration. CHESS TOURNAMENT WE LOVE CHESS Chess is one of the most important activity that works our brains.We aim that both our students enjoy and they compete with each other.Our teachers Hüseyin Tepe and Mehmet Turgut Usanmaz organized this tournament.In our tournament,there were 120 students.After our students compete joyfully, Hüseyin Emre ENGLISH HADITH Kösem was the winner student of the It is enough sin for tournament . Abdurrahman Akın was the a person to speak second winner and Ahmet Mustafa was the third of everything he winner student of the tournament.We are proud hears of our students. WORD TREE At the Word Tree Competition organized by our english teacher Figen Gülsoy, Our students prepared the trees that consisting the vocabularies they learned during the term. JUST GRADUATED Our 12th grades students have great excitement of graduation .They wear their graduation robes and caps.They threw their caps and took their photos.We congratulate our students and wish them a happy life throughout their lives. THE VOICE BORNOVA Our Song Contest We organized a song contest.Our students sang English songs.Fourteen students joined the contest. Azra Akkuş is the first winner of the contest. Elif Dereli is the second winner , Sibel Maho and Denye Hasan are the third winners of our song contest.We congratualate all participants
