Biography Liana Tong Name: Liana Tong Born: 5 January 2006 Best Known for: A famous physiatrist at a young age. Biography Liana Tong was born on the 5th of January 2006 in Jakarta. She is the youngest child and only daughter of Mr and Ms’s Tong. Liana Tong came from a family full of diversity as her father is from Sumatera Utara and her mother a native Jakarta citizen. As a child, her father intended her to become an engineer and stay close to the family. Instead, Liana decided upon a different path as she prefers to care for others by being a doctor. Through hard work and motivation, at the age of 18, Liana Tong got accepted into her dream university at University of Indonesia studying medical science. Childhood Growing up, not really close with her brothers who were born in 1996 and 2001. Her father is a contractor, while in the past her mother was an accountant, but decided to dedicate herself as a housewife. Due to her father’s occupation, he encouraged Liana to be an engineer, but as time went by Liana was more interested in caring for others. That is why she decided to become a doctor as a gesture to help others in need. Liana started her elementary studies in Santa Laurensia until her high school days. As a child Liana was known to be a misbehaving child. She cheated on two mandarin tests and got scolded. According to Liana, the scoldings led her to be a better person today. During high school Liana Tong, as planned, took Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics as her choice of subjects. In addition, she joined the student council in Junior High School. This year, she is the secretary for the 2022th high school student council. Journey to Be A Doctor Following her dreams, Liana Tong finally at the age of 18 enrolled in the University of Indonesia majoring in medical science. She is particularly interested in psychology and is dreaming to be a physiatrist. By the age of 22, she received her bachelor degree in medical science and proceeded to study psychology at the same university. Today, Liana Tong is a physiatrist at a hospital working directly with patients in need at the world known hospital. At the age of 26, she is known for her dedication and caring attitude towards patients. Fun Facts Liana Tong’s parents own a business as a dog breeder of around 30 different kinds of dogs. Biogr aphy Felicia Violet ta Lesmana Occupation: Pharmaceuticals, scientist Born: December 23rd 2005, Jakarta Best known for: Founder of Neuron cell replenishing drug. Biography: Felicia Violetta Lesmana is known for her incredible contribution to the world. She was the first person to be able to make a treatment for Nerve cell failure. She not only broadened the world of science, she also opened the world to people who faced stroke, letting them see and explore the world they were almost unable to enjoy. She invented these nerve cell treatments using the IPSC or induced pluripotent stem cells using adult cells. Childhood: Felicia was born in Jakarta then later on moved to Solo in her childhood, later on went back to Jakarta and grew up there. She was an only child, living with her father and mother. Since her early childhood, she was unable to meet her father, due to his line of work. They were only able to meet on Fridays out of 7 days of the week. The family of three live in suffocation, constantly unable to move freely due to their limit in finance. Then as she moved back to Jakarta, her hardworking family gained back their stability in finances, causing her to have one of the greatest education she can afford in Jakarta. She went to Santa Laurensia Highschool and started to gain interest in science. That is when her kindness and logical mind takes an interest in biology, the study of living organisms. She was curious, as well as kind, wanting to make an improvement to the world. What are Felicia’s achievements? Felicia won a science olympic, in her elementary school days. She was also able to win a robotic competition in her sixth grade, and achieved a scholarship in her school. She then achieved the title “Little Miss Genius” throughout her school days. She then continued to achieve and won more competitions throughout highschool. What did Felicia Invent? Felicia invented a groundbreaking invention that changed the whole world. She was able to invent a nerve cell replenishing drug. Stroke is an example of the nerve cell failure disease that is almost nearly impossible to be cured. This is caused by the inability of nerve cells to replicate. But using the scientific research of stem cells, the cells that are able to replicate into more specific cells, she was able to make a replenishing nerve cell drug. Fun facts: She really loves to read, especially romcom and fantasy She loves a thriller and mystery movies She is the tallest student throughout her school days, people use to call her “electrical pole during highschool” Felicia once met Albert Einstein in her dream while she was asleep during her exams, Albert Einstein helped her cheat in her exam, through her dreams. Biography Adeline Bogonia Name : Adeline Bogonia Occupation: Student, Activist Born: March 13, 2006, in Jakarta, Indonesia Biography: Adeline Bogonia is the youngest daughter of two established individuals, named Lola Latwos and Pari Handoyo. She was born on March 13, 2006, in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. She is part of a relatively large/big family, with about 6 family members, including herself. She has 3 siblings; the eldest is a sister of 26 years old, 2 brothers with ages of 24 and 22 years old, and her being the youngest with the age of 16. As of right now, she is a well-known outspoken high school activist who joins and is one of the sole founders of several organizations, like The Howls Project, ByeByePlasticJakarta, Trash Hero, and The Buzz Project. How was Adeline Bogonia’s childhood? Adeline Bogonia’s existence was never really intended for by the parents of the family as they thought that having 3 children was enough, however, when came the news that Adeline’s mother, Lola Latwos, was pregnant, both she and her husband, Pari Handoyo, was thrilled by the news. Not only them, but her relatives and even her siblings were also excited and enthusiastic when their mother gave the news that she was expecting. By the time Adeline was born, her family had moved from their family home in Jakarta to Gading Serpong. From the day she was born, her family and siblings were always glued onto her, and even as a child, she bonded really well with her brothers and sister despite the age gap. She lived in a joyous and bonding household as she and the other siblings get along really well with each other, with their mother and father, and also their relatives. Adeline would also have a family reunion with her extended family about twice every week, where they do activities, like visiting her grandfather’s grave to spending Christmas together. Adeline didn’t know much about her grandfather as he had passed a year before she was born, but about every year, she and her family would have a “roadtrip” to visit his grave in Bandung, where before she actually reaches her grandfather’s grave, she would visit Puncak, Cibubur, and other rural cities. She grew many fond memories from these trips and growing up, traveling became one of her most memorable memories. How is Adeline Now? By the time she was in middle school-highschool, she spoke fluent English and slowly began to be more proactive and outspoken in the school environment. She started to join school organizations, however, still remained in her ‘school bubble’, focusing more on her classes or in other words, she didn’t really reach out to people outside of the school environment. But in 8th grade, everything changed for her as she experienced the pandemic.

During the pandemic, Adeline managed to spread out of her comfort bubble, especially when discrimination cases were easily spoken out through these times on the internet. One example is the George Floyd crisis, which inspired Adeline to actually speak out on various matters. This was one of the incentives for her to start her own organization with some of her friends called The Howls Project. She spoke eloquently about the injustice spreading around the world, and from here she managed to outreach her social circle and eventually made new acquaintances. This allowed her to co-found as well as be a part of other organizations, like The Buzz Project, ByeByePlasticJakarta, and also Trash Hero, where the last two organizations focuses more on applicable movements to reduce plastic waste on the Bali beaches and also Jakarta streets. She even joined some peaceful protesting held in Jakarta back in 2021, as well as, joined a 2 week- program held by Trash Hero in Bali. She was also very vocal on her social media platforms, which lead to her being invited to several talks, events, and much more. From around late 2020 to recent times, she is widely known in the Indonesian community as a high-school activist, who spoke not only on the injustice of society but also on other topics related to such. Fun Facts: Adeline Bogonia grew up with 6 dogs and 16 birds. She once wanted to become a pilot growing up. Biography Audrey Nadia Biography: Audrey Nadia is well known for discovering the first ever autopilot aircrafts. In the world today, autopilot is surely not something new to the society, however it is usually found on vehicles such as cars and not airplanes. Autopilot allows the airplane to fly to its selected destination in a safe manner, it also has the capability of choosing the best route, free of thunderstorms and turbulence. Where did Audrey grow up? Audrey grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her father worked as a pilot, and her mother stayed home doing housewife duties. As a kid, Audrey has never had much time to spend with her father, as her father’s always going out to work and flying to different countries and cities. She spends most of her time at home with her mom building lego planes. After she grew up, she then decided to go to college and take the engineering stream as she was so passionate about building and assembling things. What did Audrey invent? The absence of her father has made her think “what if planes can fly on their own?maybe then my father wouldn’t have to always go out for work”. This thought has made her so interested in the idea of autopilot, which is only found in newly made cars. She then spent years trying to figure out ways on how to apply autopilot into airplanes. After years of trying to install autopilot on airplanes, she finally figured how to do so. In the year 2026, the first ever autopilot airplane is flown from the Soekarno International Airport destined towards the Singapore Changi Airport. Ever since the success of her invention, airplane factories have then installed autopilot systems to all of their newly produced aircraft. The first ever autopilot system When Audrey first designed her autopilot system, the system was only able to drive the aircraft towards the destined destination. Over time, Audrey and her team, along with other engineers were able to develop this system and designed the system to be capable of selecting the best routes which are free of thunderstorms and turbulence. This development has surely allowed travel time to shorten and make flying a lot safer.
