Mosquito repellants don't repel you. They hideyou. The spray, blocks the mosquito sensors, so thatthey don't know you're there.A new born kangaroo is small enough to fit in at easpoon. There are more organisms in your body thanthe number of people in the world

Secr et Adm ir erI still remember the day when I first saw you...Those deep hazel eyes,That grace, that style;Still wishing that you'd be mineI thought of telling you that you were my soulmat e,But realized that it was too late. You had found yours early,And that you loved him dearly. But only for your happiness,I accepted this emptiness...From then on,Each and every day I silently pray,That God should never take your loved onesaway,For in your joy lies mine,I am your secret admirer who can never thinkof anyone else other than you...... -Roma Panaskar

WRITTENBY:MYMISERABLELIFEREADERS.The Chinese GhostI used to sleep in the living room in my house in Singaporewhen I was 7. Since the people there do a mourning ritual inthe public area in front of our flat, that day there was a similarritual. Since I used to sleep near the sliding glass door Inoticed at about 2am there was something sitting at thewindow shaking its legs back and forth. I tried not to notice butit was so scary. The next day we found out utensils had beenthrown around the kitchen and the the windows were wideopen though we closed it before going to sleep....No onebeleives what I saw...do you?-Nikita Boopathi, Singapore.SAE Sunday You must be wondering why I said SAE Sunday. Well I hadthis interview of recruits for Zeal motorsports...\"Team racingPioneers\", and I got to know this at 8am when I was enjoingmy Sunday sleep. The interview went quite good, and I wasconfident enough I could say that \"They will surely selectme\".They even offered me 'Captain' post if I made 25 peoplejoin E-Baja team. But.....there's always a \"BUT\" in all my lifemoments, it costed Rs.25,000 a year....my parents said it wasnot about money....but I didn't want to spend so much onthat...so I decided to give up on the whole thing.-Mahesh.M.Mali, India.

Writ ers Tip Col umnPr of ession al Au t h or 's Space: - Find a librarian or teacher to whom you can talk about your projects to create good structure. - Join a writing circle or your your friends who enjoy writing to give each other critiques. - There are tons of books on writing. You may not agree with all of them but you can use the ones that make sense to you. - If you're in high school in a city, work as an intern for an agent or publisher in a co-op co u r se. - Ask yourself what each character wants. Make their stakes big. What's in their way? What do they do to get what they want? Imagine yourself as the character. What would you do if you were in their place? - Last but not least don't lose hope. Keep on trying until you succeed. -Au t h or Allan St r at t on .

She held back her tears, no she wouldn'tshow her fear. It would make her vulnerable.\"Go away\", she whispered, her voice cold andshaky. She closed her eyes tight. Her phone vibratedbeside her. IINSPIRATION There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction: the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you. I am not dull enough to suppose that because you are young, gifted and well-educated, you have never known hardship or heartbreak. Talent and intelligence never yet inoculated anyone against the caprice of the Fat es. I am not going to stand here and tell you that failure is fun. That period of my life was a dark one, and I had no idea that there was going to be what the press has since represented as a kind of fairy tale resolution. Failure meant a stripping away of the inessential. I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other then I was, and began to direct all my energy into finishing the only work that mattered to me. Had I really succeeded at anything else, I might never have found the determination to succeed in the one arena I believed I truly belonged. We do not have magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better. Many prefer not to exercise their imagination at all. They choose to temain comfortaly within bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have been born other than they are. Those who do not empathise enable real monsters. For without ever committing an act of outright evil ourselves, we collude with it, through our own apathy. As a tale , so is life; not how long it is, but how good it is, is what mat t ers.... -J.K.ROWLING
