VIRTUAL SCHOOLING INNOVATION, ITS EFFICACY AND CHALLENGES IN TEACHING AND LEARNING OF PHYSICS IN ALVAN IKOKU FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Description: The study, virtual schooling innovation, its efficacy and challenges was carried out in Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri in Imo State. A sample of fifty-five Physics students drawn from second-year, third-year and final-year classes was used for this survey. A simple structured questionnaire distributed and collected online was used to determine the extent to which virtual classrooms helped in learning physics in the college and the major challenges students encountered with this innovation. Two research questions were used in the study, which are: "To what extent is the Goggle classroom used in teaching physics in Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri?" and "What is the greatest challenge physics students face in adapting to the virtual classroom?".
