Foreword There is a rare treat in store for the reader who wants to hear from those who have contributed to a slice of history surrounding cryptocurrency and blockchain. These captures are from members of the unique XRP community that was formed through the support a new kind of fintech. The company Ripple, who at the time of this publication is the fourth largest unicorn in the world, has made its historic global mark in just eight years by the creation, use and expansion of the XRP Ledger with its independent and decentralized companion asset XRP. It goes without saying that this collection of conversations will serve as an important contribution to a world that has been forever changed by this technology. Crypto Eri
Well, hello, everybody, I'm ERI. And I go as CryptoERI, this is going to be fun to just tell you a little bit about my story, which is really, very much, like so many other stories are out there. And it was about learning when I came across Bitcoin. And I went down the rabbit hole. And after some of that research, like so many people, the project speaks to you. And for me, that happened in 2013. I was having lunch with a software engineer, friend of mine, he's a little bit younger than me from the UK. But we always had this connection. And when we got together, we enjoyed our conversation. And he told me about Bitcoin, he actually told me about Litecoin also. I didn't understand it at all. Not at all. But when I got back home, I thought to myself, well, if he says it's interesting, and it's important, I should figure it out. So I went down into studying, and it spoke to me, and what spoke to me was that it wasn't connected to any country or government. And so that was maybe one of the first things that I really liked, because I don't live in my home country anymore. And I've had to deal with moving money between the United States and Japan for many, many, many years.
And the fact that I could move this value, hold this value, and there was no government in control. That was very appealing. And at the time too, I felt it was private, although now we know that it's not as private as maybe we used to think. But this is, yeah, it was private, actually a little more so than it is now. You didn't have to claim it with the IRS as you do your crypto now. So those were the three main reasons it wasn't really the investment part for me. And it was, yeah, it was low on my list. Of course, I thought there was always a chance. But that wasn't the reason why I bought my first Bitcoin and I bought it on eBay, eBay of all places, and the first person I bought it from was from Turkey. And then I bought it from a seller in Israel. And then I bought it from someone in the Middle East. And then I realized, Oh, my God, this is so global. This is amazing. So I was using PayPal at the time, you can't do this anymore. It's totally not allowed. But it was kind of the real Wild West back then. That was, the first Bitcoin I bought was January 2014. And then when I had no bad experience, everything that I ordered was sent. I was using Polonia X at the time, and I also used the the blockchain online crypto wallet, that was that was also
where I was. I was using both those places. So this is the early time and I actually, unfortunately, not everything, but I did lose my private keys to some of the first Bitcoin I ever bought, well, so we don't look back, right. And then this whole space started to blow up in 2017. And I think I was having maybe too much fun trading all those alts. Some of them are still around, like Digi bite and Dogecoin. And see I think it's still around. But many of the ones that I was trading, I think they're gone now. So I had a YouTube channel. But I was doing Sumo because I'm a big sumo wrestler fan. And that was a channel that I started in 2006 about it was 2007. And nobody was watching me. Nobody was watching. So I changed the channel in 2017 to crypto, and by 2018, I was really finding the news because I was following the space and watching it grow up. And I found that there wasn't anybody covering Japan, for the West. And Japan is really crypto friendly, and also too there was a lot lost in Translation. And so it was in spring 2018 I went to a blockchain event and Mr. Quito was the keynote speaker. And when he spoke I just happened to tweet out a few of his comments and oh my gosh, my Twitter feed just blew
up. And I thought, well, this is an interesting community because I had not really tapped into the XRP community at all. And like those early days, the view of XRP was quite different than it is today, because they've done a great job in getting more decentralized and getting progress when it comes to the on-demand liquidity, and just the space is so different from those early days, I really wasn't that attracted to XRP in the beginning, so I found that there was really a need, and I was solving a problem. So I started to shift my channel over to covering more of the XRP. And even still, today, I find that it is solving a problem. I mean, there was an issue with an article that kind of was written by a rogue writer, and it was misinterpreted. And it's amazing to me how one article that is not correct, gets picked up by so much media out there, and then it becomes, it becomes the real thing. And it, it wasn't so not as long as I still feel like I'm solving a problem or, you know, bringing value to the community, I'm gonna continue to do this and everyone in the community works so hard at educating themselves.
This is quite different than maybe the Bitcoin crowd. And even though I think feeling like an underdog at times with the Maxis is not a lot of fun, the progress that Ripple has made and the quality of their team and the lives that they are changing with the sending of remittances for those people around the world who can least afford being ripped off is motivating to continue and support this project. So I just think it's a lot of fun. It's, it's very inspiring and compelling to see the space mature. And it is maturing, and it's going to happen faster and faster and faster now. And so it feels good to have been in the space at the front, basically you know, not the very beginning of BTC. But very much in the beginning of when it started to get traction. And still you can even still say today is still early times. So yeah, I want to thank everyone who has supported me and I will be talking to you soon and either on Twitter, Coil, or YouTube. Thank you so much. CryptoEri– Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/kPHFlhHpWgc
The Bearable Bull Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank XRP Army News for putting together these Moments in Time, with multiple XRP community members. He DM’d me on Twitter and asked if I could put my two cents in my personal experience amongst other things. And it's truly humbling to be in this moment in history as a witness, and an active member of what's unfolding. To be very honest with all of you, I never thought I'd be here, at all. The past few years have been extremely rough for me personally. Now, before I get into that, I want to give you some perspective of how I personally think. I would like to define myself as an overall entrepreneur. And in that goal, on that path, I told myself from the beginning, that if I was ever employed, I would see it as a failure as me sacrificing my dreams to be independent, to be free. Now, that's not to say there's anything wrong with employment! Absolutely not. But for me, I would see it as quitting, giving in. So what I did, I read a lot of books. Robert Kiyosaki specifically has been an extreme
influence. On the way I think. He always states that entrepreneurs work for free. And the money comes in the back end. And there's never been a statement more true, that I've seen play out in real time, than that. So with that being said, I applied it. And it was very difficult for me, years of struggling, not making money, continuing to work hard. But the worst part about it, was that your friends and family are questioning? Are you being a bum? Do you know what you're doing? That looks very risky. It looks like you're struggling. Maybe you should Stop that nonsense. The Path of Entrepreneur is one of the hardest ones you could take. It looks a little bit like what's on the screen. The support on the left, the congratulations on the right. And the entire path in between is up to you. I say all that to let you know that I am probably one of the biggest failures in this entire community. But I've failed upwards by trying, time and time and time and time again. I've made so many mistakes in my life. It's not even funny- But I have no regrets at all.
When you take a look at people who are in their 90’s looking back on their lives, one of the biggest things they always talk about is wishing they would have done something different or regretting not taking that chance. And if there's one thing you should all know about me is I will not live my life in my 90’s looking back on what could have been… if I do not achieve what I want it's because it didn't get it not because I didn't try. Ladies and gentlemen, I got into the crypto space in 2016. I was told about Bitcoin in 2012. But I didn't take it too seriously because of the Silk Road narrative. The black-market narrative by the $13 bitcoin price in 2012. Relative to the $10,000 bitcoin price that we have now that was a mistake. That is a regret. Ladies and gentlemen, imagine How I feel looking back on me being able to take advantage in 2012 of BTC and not doing it, there was going to be no way in hell that I was going to miss out again. So in 2016, I bought my first Bitcoin, not knowing at all, what I was getting myself into. And what I had gotten myself into, was the greatest return on investment asset class on the planet in the entire decade. Ladies and gentlemen, I found out
briefly after that there are a lot of alt coins that exist. Another regret of mine is not getting involved in Ether, back when it was sub $10. I saw it, but I didn't understand it. Bitcoin was the shiny object distraction. But, man imagine getting that E (Eather) at those sub $10 prices. So I realized that had to put the pedal to the metal, and learn about this market. And I figured out very quickly that the whole coin market was where I wanted to be. I was exposed to XRP, but I heard the narrative that Ripple is working with banks, relative to the beautiful, self-righteous stance of trying to get rid of banks. I fell for it. Back then I held a little bit of Ripple, but not a lot. And I was a heavy alt coin investor. Investing in a lot of different alt coins, aside from XRP was very beneficial. I got to study a lot of different projects, some of which are still around today. And others have proven themselves to be scams. I lost a lot of money in the alt coin rally, not by choosing incorrectly… but by not selling fast enough. I believe in the crypto space so much that I over hold some of my positions that I should have been greedy and sold at… there are at least six cryptos that I own right now that I could have made insane profits on that
are now 99% retraced and will never go back up. Those cryptos are a very hard lesson. That was during the time where I needed the money. And I didn't get it. And then I had to put the pedal to the metal. Get creative. figure things out. In the process of figuring things out, you need to read to stimulate the mind. If you don't have ideas from some of the most intelligent people on the planet, you're not educating yourself. You're failing. Ladies and gentlemen, I say all this to say, just do. Don't regret and you will make mistakes, and you'll fail upwards. You might just get successful by accident. You could never imagine what could happen. If you keep watering your creative seeds as they sprout. As they bloom. You'll surprise yourself. This is a very humbling moment. I would like to thank XRP army news as well as his incredible wife, Carrie, for putting all this together. I'm sure we're gonna look back after XRP takes off at these moments in time, that you both are putting together... and thank you. You're gonna get a very strong thank you
from me. To anyone else paying attention. Thank you to all of you. All I ask you to do is to stay aggressively average. The Bearable Bear– Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/4xqLgW-bkRE
I'm XRP Darren Fame 21 Moore. I have a YouTube show and I'm on Twitter. I got into cryptocurrency in 2017, I started investing in Bitcoin. And then I started researching other projects and I started getting into XRP. And I started just searching the internet for PDFs and I started finding connections everywhere was with a Ripple. So the more I understood about the technology, the more bullish I became on ripple and I started publishing my posting my information on Twitter and started getting a following and then I started doing a YouTube show. I have a background in 3d animation and interactive Media, so I was able to create quality videos that everybody wanted to watch and I got to analyze, analyze XRP and crypto which is kind of a passion of mine. I enjoy doing it! Darren Moore – Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/MhfHrhTBcoc
Hello, everyone, nice to see it. I am taking this opportunity to support the XRP Army News. And its endeavor to be very inclusive for the XRP in greater crypto communities. My moment in time isn't specifically about any one element. But I'll share with you what an incredible journey it has been since I entered this crypto space back in early 2019. The journey started as a way to make money, right, put some money into an investment, that investment grows, and then you utilize that capital for something. But what I found, in addition to the value proposition of my investment, is I have found an incredible community both through Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. But also, aside from those platforms, many of the folks engaged in this incredible journey along with me, I'm speaking and talking to and interacting with on a daily basis outside of those social media platforms. It's been incredible the journey now as well as the community that I've become a part of my own personal path to financial literacy, and becoming a better investor grows every single day. You know, I've been exposed to concepts and ideas and lines of thinking that have come from incredible resources.
Right, I found Real Vision finance on YouTube, where I'm getting a macro economic education around how traditional capital markets work. And seeing the integration of crypto into those capital markets. With the inclusion of Wall Street and other large entities leaning into crypto. It's becoming a part of the greater capital market structure. And I'm just overjoyed every day that not only do I get to participate in this as an investor, but also grow as a community member. I want to encourage each and every one of you to think about your Moment in Time think about what this journey is for you. For me, it's about discovery, learning, and then applying these things that I've learned so that I become a better investor and a better person. Hello XRP community. My name is Dario. Most people know me as STEDAS on Twitter. You know I'm guilty of all the infographics visuals and posters I made for the XRP community. Also, I am the organizer of the first XRP meetup in Croatia that took place in Zagreb last year. So, I have been in this great XRP community since late 2017, and I'm a big XRP and Ripple supporter. At that time, I got really interested in crypto and digital assets. I did my own research and among other cryptocurrencies. I have discovered XRP. When comparing XRP to other currencies, it was evident that XRP is better and cheaper for payments, it is a far better technology. Since then, I have been actively participating in the promotion of and raising awareness about the digital currency XRP and ripple on my Twitter, and have created many, many infographics and guides on ripple and XRP. During the last three years, my website helped thousands of crypto enthusiasts and XRP supporters and investors to learn more about and to understand better Ripple’s mission enabling the Internet of value.
As you already know, the most exciting product I'm working on since 2018, is the famous XRP community poster. Since then, I have included over 2000 XRP members from Twitter, YouTube, XRP chat and all platforms. The XRP community poster is a very popular poster in the XRP community and chose active and passionate members and supporters of Ripple and XRP. It is a great reminder of everyone's XRP journey. I really invite every XRP community member to join and be part of it. The next version of the XRP community poster will be published in January 2021. It will be the seventh version. And if you want to be included to visit my website, Stedas.hr and sign up there. For those that would like to purchase it, they can do it on the website or by contacting me in their dm on Twitter. Where do I think the crypto is going in the next years? I believe that 2020 will be a decade in which we will see concrete use cases of cryptocurrencies, especially those that solve the important problems of today. I think that the financial sector FinTech sector, will see the biggest changes and disruptions. Finally, this will be the first
year when the banks will be able to sell or hold cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin Etherium, and XRP. This will be a huge milestone for global adoption and usage of digital assets and crypto in general. Also, as for Ripple and XRP, I believe that there is a strong likelihood that banks will finally start using XRP for on demand liquidity, thus releasing large amounts of money currently trapped in nostr/ vostro accounts worldwide. And to finish this, I would like to give a few tips to all new investors in the crypto community. Always do your own research, new users should take time to understand what currencies are, and should not only rely on other people's advices on social media sites such as YouTube, Twitter or Facebook. Keep your crypto safe. Make sure that you are storing your crypto on a hardware wallets eg ledger nano x and never share your private keys, be prepared for the market cycles, bear or bull. The crypto market is driven by human emotions and by so called market cycles. There are periods of anger these live in the depression in the bear market, prices are going down and periods of euphoria and thrill and belief in the bull market, when prices are going up. These periods during bull markets tend to repeat and usually lasts for a couple of years
each. Choose your coins wisely. Many crypto currencies will not survive the long term. Some prominent experts estimate that over 80% of coins will go to zero or will simply disappear. Diversify your portfolio, diversification is a risk mitigation strategy. There is a wide variety of cryptocurrencies alt coins that you can invest in, so don't put all your eggs in one basket. And last but not least, be patient. Investing in cryptocurrency requires being very patient. The price of cryptocurrencies can be very volatile, wait for your price targets and let the market come to you don't try to time the market. And for the end, I would like to thank the XRP Army News for this opportunity to introduce myself to the XRP community and to be a part of the XRP moment in time. Stay strong, be patient and humble. I love you all Dario. XRP_Cro– Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/pEBKvNUcdg4
Hey, what's going on guys, this is the Crypto Ceej. And I gotta say, I'm really, really excited for those of you being able to kind of check this out, but more importantly, to really be able to check out the XRP news community channel, I think it's going to be absolutely outstanding. I love the idea behind it for sure. But a little bit about me and my background, my background actually is in aviation. And so I've been an air traffic controller for for my entire life, right? So soon as I became a teenager at 18, right. Shortly prior to turning 19, I was an air traffic controller, right. So I was blessed to do that, while serving my country initially in the United States Navy. And then I went on to after five years of probably the best time of my life, being in the United States Navy, I went on to perform the same duty as the air traffic controller for the FAA. So it's been the only job that I've ever actually had. So it's, it's been a really, really cool deal, I absolutely wouldn't change anything about that at all. It's a, it's a, it's a pretty cool gig, if you can get it for sure. So I kind of stumbled, it's funny too, because I kind of stumbled into XRP. And so I got into the digital asset space, late 2016. And then what we used to call the high yield investment platform, space handler lending space, this is what I entered into the digital assets. And so, you
know, we we get excited today about 4%, or 5%, or 6% API, if we can get that right on awesome platforms like Celsius. But I was in a space where, you know, they were paying that kind of stuff every single day. So they're paying 4% 5% 6% a day. So I entered into the digital asset space, not in hottel mode, as we like to say, but in gambling mode, right. So that's how I joined the space, messing around, and those different things there, I learned a lot, I learned a ton, I lost a ton of money, there. But I did, I learned a lot. It was an interesting experience. And then I went into day trading BTC after that, so I was day trading Bitcoin for a while. And I had a good time doing that as well. I was doing it on by Nance. And so this is you know, back then, right? So 2017. And so that was expensive for hikers and some fees. And so it kind of ate up the gains, it really did kind of dig into the gains that I was getting in BTC during the day trading, you know, the fees kind of, you know, kind of snap shows up those up. So that was a learning experience, I had a good time. Doing that was pretty, pretty cool. We've got the site in the background, so I hope I'm not blinding you guys out. So it was fun doing that. And again, learned a lot. Learn kind of the pros and cons learn, you know, learn how to do this, you know, stop losses and learn that stuff. Right.
And for me, you know, learning that early on was really really cool. Because it you know it what it did for me is it kind of was like eliminating things, you know, I'm you know, eliminating high yield investment platform eliminating that idea of wanting to be a day trader, right. And so it's important, you know, to know, not just what to do, but it's also important to learn what not to do, right? So that was for me, it's like, yeah, I'm not gonna hang out in those places, they're not gonna do the high yield investment platforms. I'm not going to do the day trading. Let's look into this high long thing that they talked about. Right. And so, so I started doing that. And really, what I did is I started expanding my digital asset portfolio outside of BTC and Ethereum. And it's very, very odd that um, I found XRP from t Katori This is how I learned about XRP. In the beginning. He called it ripple. And I had been subscribed to his newsletter for for some time. And you know, his newsletter, Doug Casey's newsletter, Jim Rickards newsletter, right, so a lot of those newsletters, and I'm a paying for them all. And he mentioned ripple and I think his first you know, kind of crypto broadcasts that you know, he that he does, right, so he mentioned it is again, he didn't say
XRP he mentioned ripple then and so that's how I first discovered it. And I didn't do much research behind it. I just said Okay, cool. I've kind of noticed I've been paying attention to the success that ticker had been having right? pygmies are winning eath right and so I just went out and I just got it right I just got it on cracking right is Oh, Want to crack in and you know, did all of that stuff and purchase my first x RP there. So, interestingly enough, right not even doing any research, I just went and got some. And then I began the journey into learning more about ripple the company learning more about XRP in all this use cases, and I'm still on that journey today, and absolutely loving it. absolutely loving the journey without question. And so this interesting time right now. So for me, you know, the space and what we're doing now, again, from someone spins since 2016. I think we've come a really, really long way. I think that we've crossed the chasm, if you will, in terms of, you know, that early adopter, in gaining interest, what's the word gaining recognition, if you will, from from traditional finance, right?
This is where I think we are now, a lot of the big time traditional finance players like um, fidelity, like the New York Stock Exchange and back like TD Ameritrade, TD Ameritrade, a lot of the traditional places B and y Mellon CME Group, all these different things, right? I think we're, we kind of have the recognition now as a viable new asset class. And that's what I think this is, I think it's a new asset class, but it's new. And so we're still just kind of getting our foot in the door, if you will, right. And so, I know that it's going to take some time. But I'm excited about the fact that we are early adopters, in this new asset class, early adopters, and an entirely new asset class. And I just think the sky's the limit, I think it's a it's a pretty cool feeling, being able to know that you have an opportunity is to be the one sitting above the fireplace, you know, the mantle above the fireplace for your picture, as the one who started generational wealth for your family, right. And I that's why I believe this is going I truly, truly believe that not just with the fact that we are XRP hollows, but the fact that we're early adopters in this new asset class. And so I firmly believe that generational wealth is possible. And it's just a matter of kind of doing your homework and taking advantage of this entire asset class, not just in purchasing assets, but looking into the
different verticals within this asset class, right, whether it be d fi, whether it be you know, looking into liquidity mining, whether the leveraging platforms like Celsius so that you can earn interest on your assets, and leverage your assets versus liquidating those assets. And so, when I'm excited about that, and it's a great thing that we're early, we get to learn these things. But that's the greatest opportunity for us. I think, first mover's advantage, when a maneuver properly is just that it is an advantage, right? And so but you got to, you got to know how to walk through that carefully to see if you can take advantage, though. So what a blessed spot and I'm, I'm so so excited for you guys, right? For everyone tuning in and listening in and reading. Right? You know, again, this should be a head and shoulders back moment for you in your life. Why? Because you're an early adopter in a new asset class. And trust me, when I tell you, you own assets, you own assets that 99.99% of the masses want to own institutional investors want to own the assets that you hold if you hold BTC if you hold eath if you hold XRP, high, the you know those guys in our traditional financial world, they want to own the assets that you own. And that is a pretty cool, cool feeling. So again, understand that you're playing a game that 99.99% of
the masses don't the masses don't even know is being played. That my friends is a cool spot to be in. So I'm excited for you. I'm looking forward to getting to meet each and every one of you and I hope that you guys, truly, truly take advantage of the opportunity to chat and hope to talk to you guys soon. Take care. See ya. Hey everybody, this is XR Plumber, and it's an honor to be on a moment of time with Scott on the XRP. Army news. What can I say I'm excited to share this little bit of time. But who knows where to start? If you've heard my story with him on the last interview, some of this will be redundant. But for all of you who don't know about me yet, I'm a, I'm a small business owner. I'm from Texas. I've been in XRP and crypto since about 2017. I got into it because I heard somebody on the radio talking about it. My son, originally is the one that told me about it in 2015, he was only nine years old, he came up to me, he's sitting right next to me right now, matter of fact, driving me around. And he's the one that told me, Hey, Dad, there's this really cool digital money now that's around and you can buy stuff. But I didn't want to listen to him. I said no. So you can't do that. It's not gonna work. There was a bigger story behind it earlier, we bought some coins on the app ended up like over deducting our account. And so I was burned by that. But he was right. And I didn't listen. And if I would have gotten to Bitcoin, way back, then the gains would have been crazy. So when I heard about it in 2017, I decided I want to find out more. So I asked lots of people in my community
that were wealthy, if they knew about it figure and they knew how to invest. No one knew about it. And the few that did know about it, thought it was a scam. So here I am asking around finally do my own research, like people say, and little by little, we found out well, what can I say other than I think it was Coinbase. The first thing I saw some advertisement on Facebook, that told me about Coinbase and I got in and I spent 10 bucks worth, you know, $10 of, of a purchase to get my little bitty bit of Bitcoin. And then from there, I thought I knew it all. You know, I was so proud. And I started telling people about it, start and try to spread the word. And then some, how can I put to keep this brief, a friend of a friend of a person that was working in the same office building that I had my office in, came up to me and asked me about USI tech, and asked me if I knew about Bitcoin and I, he told me about USI tech, which was a multi-level thing. That wasn't the bad part. The bad part was it was done by a company that didn't really end up being legit. And I lost a little bit of money. But I learned a lot in the process. And I met a lot of really great crypto minded people just like me, and we just hit it off. And I learned
more and more I found out about the YouTube space, I found out about the Twitter space. And I always watched it from outside. I never participated. I only you know, I was a spectator. And then at the end of 2019, after all these years of investing several years of investing and seeing ups and downs and a big bear market. I finally bit the bullet and created this persona of XR Plumber, and I made it because I think it is the perfect metaphor for all of us. You know, we're just the working man chasing them coins trying to accumulate as much as you can and save the day. And that's and Mario is the best example I could think of and the fact that I'm a plumber makes it even sweeter for me. So yes, I this is the first time I officially announced it. I've said it, I've alluded to it, I've kind of maybe made people think it. I'm a plumber, I own a plumbing company. I'm in Texas, that's about all I do. I keep anonymous out of respect for my family, some of my family doesn't doesn't want me to be out there, throwing my name out and giving my face out. So I don't you know, I'm pretty outgoing. I'm pretty extroverted, I think the word is so I would, but they're more private. And so I have to balance it out and be respectful. And that's where I'm at. So that's kind of the middle of where I'm at. But this is a great space. There's wonderful
people, the Twitter community is second to none. You know, there's some crazy folks out there. I don't know, I'm probably included in it. But um, you know, what can I say that I was just telling my son the other day. This is such a unique community because there's, you know, just a multitude of religions, of ethnicities of so many you know, political persuasions of different countries, all everything you could think of it is we put that all aside to be one community of people focused on this new technology. This new transition to the new system, I guess you want to call it, it's just a awesome, awesome time to be early. And we are. And that's the coolest thing about this is that the little bit of money that we're investing, you know, I'm not I'm not a rich man, I mean, I'm doing all right. But you know, it's, it's a sacrifice to not put that money into other things. And to put it into these, these investments, these coins, or whatever they your your coin of choice is, I choose, my biggest coin is XRP. But I have other ones, I have other little ones. I still have a bag of Tron from a couple of years ago. And today, it kind of went a little bit higher as I was kind of happy that I still had it. But it was my best performing coin today for that matter. And that's the thing. We don't know what's going to happen with this market.
Everyone says it's coming, the OCC just allowed banks to come in, we're still waiting on regulations for for Ripple and XRP. To you know, get that sorted out, you know, we have a lot riding on little things. But, you know, I was gonna say I love the fact that Scott is bringing the opportunity to all the people in the Crypto Community to to give their, their voice to their their thoughts, I guess they did to put their thoughts into words. That's the way I'm trying to say, to be able to go out and, and share their opinions, give their ideas give their stories, and, and just um, contribute. I love that it's Scott has a great program. I've seen his his YouTube channel join his Twitter page is a Twitter account is growing. He's a great guy. He just gives off this, this really strong air of confidence and trustworthiness. And I really respect that about him. I know, I don't know him. Personally, I've never shook his hand. and is now in this day and age we came you shake hands. So who knows, at the beginning of this year, it took a crazy term with the beer flu. But what can I say? I'm talking a long time I could go on. Long story short, short story long, whatever you want to see it that way.
This is where we're at. I see a lot of great things happening for the space, I see a lot of innovations that we can't even predict like a lot of different personalities, YouTube influencers have said it, you know, this is going to create new types of programs and, you know, investment vehicles that we've never seen before because it's creating a technology that that allows for things to happen that we didn't know, it's just like David Schwartz said a long time ago, when the internet wasn't here. You couldn't say, uh, you know, you couldn't use the like, just Google it. You couldn't say that? Because there was no internet. What the heck is Google? So no one foresaw Google I guess is the way to put it. Not until it started to become more evident. And that's where we're at right now. We're gonna see all these different things happen. It'll become more evident. Day by day, some people get creative. You know, maybe this guy right next to me, my son, you know, he's smart enough to get into this space. He's like, he's looking at me gee. Anyway, that's where we're at guys. I could go on and on. But that's pretty much all I want to say. I want to say I love you guys. I think you're great. I pray for you all the time. Um, and hey, Oh, I know big one. I got a
Cinnamon and YouTube Channel. Besides my Twitter account, you're always welcome to come check it out. You can always follow it if you want. I don't make videos all the time. It's I'm blessed with a lot of work being a plumber, there's not enough of us. And you know, I got more work than I can handle. So I got to work it in when I can. But when I do make them I put my heart and soul into it. I give my two cents. It's not financial advice, but I'm just having a good time sharing. So if you ever want to check it out, check it out. It's under the same name XR Plummer on YouTube and on Cinnamon video and Coil. Oh, by the way promote support those platforms Coil and Cinnamon before YouTube in my opinion, oh, well, not not Scott, Scott support his thing to Sorry, dude. But uh, seriously, we gotta support Cinnamon and Coil. Those are XRP centric platforms that we can really help grow. I am on YouTube because I want to reach even more people. But I'd like to draw him back to cinnamon and coil. So Twitter, YouTube, those are my vehicles to get people over there to the other thing. So that's one of my biggest, biggest near and dear projects to my heart. So I like to talk about that. Anyway, I'm gonna wrap it up because if you didn't notice, I like to talk. But just
want to thank Scott again for giving me this opportunity. I wish you all so much. You know prosperity, peace, love, joy, everything. So God bless guys. I'm done. XR Plumber - Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/RL5rSfECS8s
Hi there, this is Crypto Ice. Just to tell you a little bit about my background, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've been working with troubled teens for like 16 years. It’s one of the most fulfilling things that I've ever done. And so how I apply that to the crypto space is I think we all have a unique background that helps us in our investments. I got into the space in July of 2018. But to tell my story, it really started in 2008. In the crash of 2008 I was one of the unfortunate ones that was just doing what everyone else was. Going to college and getting that first house right before the crash. I was blindsided, really, and kind of left wondering: “What could I have done to have prevented this and know about it?” And that kind of leads into my crypto story because in 2018 I had really worked to get my house equity back. I refinanced, I got a second job, I held on to my house til I got it back. Then I was going house hunting. And being
a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I don't make a ton of money. I was looking at the houses available to me and it just was not much. I mean, in this all time high real- estate market, it was just not anything that I was impressed with. And so I was literally just kind of praying what other options are there if I don't have to buy a house? What other options are there? And literally within two weeks, I had a friend come and talk to me about Cryptocurrency. First, I was just gonna put in a couple grand because it seemed like he made some money and after I studied it, I was just completely sold on the future of Cryptocurrency. And you know, July of 2018 is a much different feel than what it is today. In 2019, you remember when the government, people like Steve Minuchin from the Treasury started to come out and talk about Cryptocurrencies and we had government players starting to talk about it? And the latest with the OCC coming out with the bank
announcement. I've had five people this week reach out to me to get signed up with crypto’s. Because I've been trying to start a social movement here because my opinion is that not only are we living in a crisis situation (which equals opportunities and danger). That’s the definition of crisis. Unbelievable opportunities in Cryptocurrency, right? We've been in a bear market, these prices are just unbelievable, in my opinion. But we've also had the Fed artificially propping up the stock market at all costs. Printing money like it's going out of style. Thirty million people plus out of jobs. I kind of see a colliding of two things. We see a real concern for this community, and the world in general of like, are we going to see the economy tank at some point. So you see crypto taking off and the economy (i.e. general economy) tanking. It really kind of gave me a sense of urgency to be a YouTuber. I mean, that really was what it was. I was talking with my friends, I was talking with my family, I was talking with everyone and eventually I'm like, I might as well just start doing
YouTube videos. And just being a voice of warning, really. I did a challenge recently. And you know 200 dollars XRP can get you, at 20 cents, can get you a 1000 XRP right? And I was saying that I believe personally that it could get to a 1000 one day. I know some people think that's crazy. I think it's possible. And I just wanted everyone to get skin in the game, even if it's 100 dollars, 200 dollars, whatever it is. So that's a little bit about my story really because that's why I'm here as a YouTuber. I haven’t done anything like this before. And it's exciting to see people starting to wake up to this. People are starting to reach out to me that I've been talking to for a year. And they're finally like, “what the banks can maybe hold this in the future?” So just to give you a little more background on me. I not only have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for, you know, 16 years. And work with troubled teams with abuse and do a lot of attachment work. And so, such a satisfying job.
And to me, that's going to be so critical, right? Like once this market takes off and if we make the kind of money we think we're going to, what kind of meaning are we going to have after we make the money? I'm hoping to bring some good to the world as far as kids that are abused and things like that. So that's my passion. That's my drive. And just a couple more things about me. There was a real shift, a paradigm shift in 2018. About the time I got into Cryptocurrency. I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad for the first time. I learned about assets and liabilities. Assets is cash flow coming to you every month. Liabilities is when money's going out every month. And I started looking at my life and I'm like, “I'm a saver.” I've been keeping money in my bank account for a decade and it's just been rotting with inflation. So I made a 180 degree turn. And I'm like, “no more.” I'm putting this money to use. No longer am I gonna let it just depreciate over time. I'm gonna beat the Fed at the Feds game, basically. If they are gonna deflate the dollar and make it less and less valuable, I'm gonna beat
them at their game by getting out of cash and getting into hard assets. And whether that be Cryptocurrency, which, you know, is a lot of it for me. So I'm looking at this as a small business really. And to be quite honest, I'm taking less risk than the average small business owner. And the upside in crypto is so much greater than anything I can think of currently. So I'm like, I'm in on being a small business owner in crypto. And with everything that we have seen. We’ve seen governments get involved. We’ve seen fidelity, TD Ameritrade, we've seen NASDAQ. I mean, we see all these traditional players. We’ve seen JP Morgan do a 180 degree turn. Bitcoin is a fraud to now they're employing banking services to Cryptocurrency companies like Coinbase and Gemini. I mean, now we’re seeing Goldman Sachs, same thing. They wouldn't touch it. It's such a volatile market. It's not an asset class. And now they want their own coin. So we're seeing it's not what they say it's what they do
that matters. I've seen enough to know that this market is here to stay. And so that's why I feel confident, personally, just kind of simplifying my life really. It’s all about the purchasing power of the dollar to me if I can simplify my life. And instead of buying another house, which I couldn't buy pretty much any house right now that I wanted. I'm like, why not invest in other things like Cryptocurrency where the upside is so much greater, in my opinion, and maybe I'll have some housing opportunities down the road. So that's kind of my thinking. And if you think about my channel, I know there's so many YouTubers, XRP YouTubers, out there. I'm like, I have to bring something different. What I feel like I bring different is my clinical experience as a mental health professional. I really focus on investment strategies, whether it be how I apply Warren Buffett strategies. How do I apply Robert Kiyosaki strategies? How do I apply some of the great minds of our time, right? I really want to focus on the fundamentals of that and how can I have a solid
investment plan. So grateful to be part of the XRP community. And I hope that this was interesting to you to find out a little bit more and thank you. Alright thanks. Crypto Ice – Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/Ss8zmoLO9l8
So Hello, my name is Allah, aka Lord Vendatta XRP on Twitter, this is my handle. First of all, I would like to thank Scott for all he does for the crypto community. And I want to thank him for taking the time to consider my story and I would like to thank all the members of the XRP community, big or small, it doesn't matter. We share the same path with the same dream and the same destiny. So, all love, and thank you again for your support. I have an average story, but this is my story. So, I just got started in 2017, late 2016, beginning of 2017. I had a friend, an Algerian fan, and he was into advertising sites. So, when you publish an ad, the site was giving you a pointer to Bitcoin or Ethereum. So, I was into that, but each site was ending as a scam. Every time we come up with a new site, it was a scam. So, the beginning 2017 Ethereum. It was like a $2 $3. So, I missed this golden opportunity, because I was only focused on quick money, scams and ICO’s, of course, you know, 2017, we had the tsunami of ICO’s and Yes, that was my focus. So, the whole 2017 I was only focusing on ICO’s and looking for new ICO’s, and now we live in the same thing, the yield forming stuff is 2017. all over again.
So, that was my plan in 2017. So, I saw the bull run in front of my eyes. And I had a lot of regrets because I did not invest in cryptocurrencies, only in scams. So, I missed the bull run. And when we had the crash in the beginning 2018, I put the whole space aside, so I was like, you know what, I lost money, I'm not gonna lose money again. I don't know shit about this space, so, you know what, I need to learn everything by myself and learn about real digital asset utility, use case and what's happening in the world. So, in the ending of 2018, December, I remember like it was yesterday, Bitcoin bottomed, so it was $2500. I saw the price I'm like, okay, you know, what Allah, it's time to get back in. If you want to get back in you need to do the thing, right? So, I started to invest in Bitcoin, EOS, Litecoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, all the altcoins that the biggest altcoins and when, and in April 2019, everything went up, Bitcoin went to 14K, EOS went to $9. Litecoin went, I think, maybe $100-150 dollar. So, I did well with a good chunk of profit. But at the same time, I was learning about XRP and Ripple, I was learning about what's the problem in the world right now? what's the huge utility that the world needs right now. So I was focusing on Ripple and XRP. But when I made the
profit, I switched everything in XRP. And I went all in since April 2019. Until now I'm buying XRP every week, I'm disciplined. This is my plan; I'm sticking to the plan for one year or more now. And yeah, this is my story. So, I'm a normal person with the normal targets. But this is my lifetime opportunity. Because I want to look for freedom, I want the five-star lifestyle. I want everything. So, this is, I think the most opportunity in our lifetime. Yeah, so this is my story. Lord Venetta– Moment In Time Video https://youtu.be/DzfH4GvAtwo
I'm an ex wall Streeter, I worked for 28 years as a trader on Wall Street; so you think I would have known better when, on January 2nd, 2018 I FOMO’d into XRP. I had been trying to open an account with bitstamp since November 2017 and they told me there would be a six week delay, and then another six week delay, and this just went on and on. All the time I was watching the price of XRP, double, like every week, and it was driving me nuts. So, in December, the price went from about 24 cents at the start of December, maybe a little below that. And by the time the end of December came we're touching $3 and I'm like, this is ridiculous. This thing's going to the moon and I gotta get in. So, I FOMO’d in like a MOFO. I asked a friend who owned Bitcoin to buy me some XRP and gave him a large check. Well for about 24 hours I was a genius. The price went from $3.02 where I bought in to about $3.80 in the next 36 hours! And I was like, damn, this is easy. About 48 hours later, I was financially beheaded, and never looked back. The price started to fall and I was somewhat locked in. My friend with the bitcoin account had told me that he would buy the XRP for me but he would not trade it as he did not want to incur tax problems. Meanwhile my Bitstamp account was still not
open and so I was locked into a falling asset; not the place one wants to be! I thought, well I FOMO’d into this thing and I haven't got clue what it is, so maybe I should figure out what exactly this XRP token is. I started looking into XRP and the parent company Ripple. I looked at the investors and the partnerships, and my jaw dropped. The more I learned the more I thought, oh my god, this is the holy grail of finance right here. And nobody knows about it. It was a shock. So, I decided not only am I going to hold but I'm going to add and within about a month I think we were at about $1 instead of $3+ so I did ship in some more at around $1 and have bought all the way down to my lowest purchase, 0.1216. From my first purchase in Jan 2018 I have probably upped my position times 10. So, I'm a serious investor in this thing. Now my fiancé, when we go to dinner parties always prays the topic of digital assets doesn't come up. Because you know what it's like when you love something like this, you cannot not talk about it. And when I start talking about it, because I have absolutely zero doubt, people also want to get in, so almost all our friends are involved in XRP. And I think my fiancé’s thinking that if this thing doesn't work, we're gonna lose all our friends!!
So where are we at? Well you can probably hear from my accent, I'm from the north of Ireland, Belfast. And I send money back to the UK and Ireland regularly. Not only is it slow and annoying as you never know how much is actually going to get there or when but it's also expensive. Just yesterday I went to send money from my personal Citibank account, I now live in the US, to a Citi business account, and was told they can't do it, unless I send a wire transfer at $17 50. That’s a payment within the same bank, in the same currency! So if this system isn't bust, I don't know what is. Hence, we're at the point of inflection, we're at the point where I think need is going to meet regulation eventually. Ripple and XRP will benefit from this. It isn’t all plain sailing though. I was listening to the Chairman of SBI, saying he was trying to get R3 and Ripple to work better together. Because there's a lot of infighting going on. Now that made me worried. I would love, oh, my God, I would love to see Ripple purchased R3, that would be game over. And the Corda settler is ubiquitous in all of these amazing companies around the world, you know, the whole Italian banking system is about to switch it, and I know, XRP is the theoretically the favorite token, but if those guys are in fighting, who knows where that goes. So that was something I would
