CIS COMMITMET Coronado International School is committed to the continuity of the educational process of our students from the age of 2 years and up. Our academic offer incorporates international educational standards for levels from Kindergarten to 9th and at the same time complies with current education regulations in the Republic of Panama on behalf of the Ministry of Education. Calvert Academy who has been in alliance with CIS since 2017, offers us a complementary and well-founded curricular program with due international accreditation where our groups from 7th to 9th are integrated. Calvert Academy is accredited nationally in the United States and internationally by Cognia. 2

.../ Cognia is a global non-governmental organization with the authority to accredit elementary and secondary schools in the United States and internationally. Likewise, the Calvert Academy educational program is offered to our students in grades 10-12. The subjects that these degrees study are represented in academic credentials that are issued and managed for their apostille in the United States by the Florida Department of State, who validate said documents as authentic and legal. . 3

Our academic offer for the year 2021-2022 contemplates a hybrid educational modality, where students will participate in blended classes where they will physically attend the school and at the same time they will receive online support from a distance from our teaching staff. 4

Expanding Horizons CIS 2021 - 2022 For the year 2021-2022 we will have classes for students of 2 and 3 years of age, following the Creative Curriculum. As a complement to the Creative Curriculum, the subjects of Art, Music, Spanish and Psychomotor skills are included to promote integral learning. 9

Partial Classes Students will attend campus to receive their classes. They will also be broadcast in real time through the Google Meet platform for those students who must continue their education virtually. The recordings of these classes will be available in SEDUCA. These classes seek to provide a space for meaningful pedagogical interaction between students and the teacher to work on critical thinking skills, creativity, communication and collaboration. 10

Asinchronous Pedagogical Interaction Starting in Pre-Kindergarten, in addition to classes on campus, students and guardians will have 24/7 access to their study plans, platforms with links, and communication with their teachers through the virtual classroom in SEDUCA. Through the different platforms, students will carry out assignments, evaluations and projects in deferred time, focused on the development of competencies and receiving the accompaniment and feedback of the teacher in deferred time through online communication. 11

The Best of the both Worlds Through virtuality, our students learned to use the resources available online to become masters of their own learning and learn to learn. Through interaction with peers and the community, crucial skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity are developed. 12
